[QUOTE="Yusuke420"]You'll get alot further with them if you embrace the motion controls. Skyward Sword shows that they can be both responsive and add depth to an experience. I really don't want to play another Zelda game without them. Except that even then it's not impressive and SS doesn't actually show the Wii motion controls for what they were made for. The majority of games still don;t actually use motion controls (instead virtual button presses including the majority of SS) and thus anything SS level would be seen as a swan song, even though it is just a cover for how the Wii failed to even get its purpose right. Not one game uses what the Wii was really made for majority wise except maybe the first Wii Sports. What are you talking about? You could swing the sword in SS anyway you wanted in all eight directions with accuracy. How can you get that from pressing buttons? You had full control of your bird in every direction, I guess it could have been replicated by buttons but it would have been nearly as resposive or free flowing (mashing A for lift would have gotten old fast). There are also plenty of enemies that would beat your ass if you used a traditional control scheme, so I don't really think your arguement has any weight behind it. SS was an experience made better by motion controls and that's exactly what people **** about the Wii not having.[QUOTE="outworld222"]
I agree with you, but why oh why did they have to add this aweful Wii mote and Nunchuck controller? It instantly makes the console unappealing, in my view. Some people want to press buttons only, but some Wii games don't give you that.
So, in other words, the Wii unleashed the plague that is the PS Move and Kinect.
