Why so many rules of no doing this none of this dont do anything to offend people and then Gamestop pulls this off. I mean its not a big deal but I dont like hypocisy.

When they have all these rules for a pg-13 site and then have a review of God Of War with pictures of animated naked women and a video dont you think this is slightly out of line?? please dont mod me for this , thi sis game related

So go ahead defend yourselves if you really care to GS.....

Do I think that the inclusion of nudity in the GoW pictures and videos is a bit hypocritical and not in keeping with the sites family friendly PG-13 policy's?
Maybe.

I played the games and I though that the nudity in the game was just the developers way of saying ehhhh were going to get an M rating anyway so why not put some topless women in for good measure.

I have not seen those photo's or the video your referring to here on GS. Are you talking about the video review for GoW or GoW 2? Perhaps you could link to the specific items your referring to. ;)

Some films with brief nudity (topless females) have been rated PG-13. Most notably Back to School, and Titanic. Airplane (made prior to the PG-13 rating) also has a quick topless shot and was/is rated PG. Those are just ones I remember.

I agree the video probably should have been censored but it still falls within the PG-13 gray area as it would be interrupted by the MPAA. The ESRB would and did say M for mature and not for anyone under the age of 17.
Like I said it's a gray area.

I'm the one that brought this up, and I do have a problem with it. The picture and/video comes straight from the review on the God of War (PSP) review page. My problem is this: Since gamespot can do it, can we all just start posting nude pictures all over the forums now? Maybe only if they are cartoon nude pictures? I certainly don't want this, but it IS hypocritical. I've seen people get modded for using questionable (gray area) words even. I was even modded for telling someone that they could buy wipeout (PSP) at Walmart on sale that week, and the reason that the mod gave was that I was "distributing piracy." How does telling someone to buy a game on sale have anything to do with distributing piracy?

My question is, shouldn't the reviewer be modded or punished (I guess that's the right word) for doing something tha twe would get in trouble for? I don't know if the same was shown on the God of War 1 and 2 videos, but I'm not going to check either. If this site is going to be a PG13 site, it needs to be treated that way. If anything, they need to put a warning or age check before the video is shown. At least blur the pictures out. Maybe they are just too lazy anymore?...It certainly shows in some of the reviews lately (length wise and quality wise). All I'm saying, is that some measure needs to be put into place or a warning if these kinds of things are posted. Don't post it on the review itself anyways. Parents shouldn't have to be monitoring their children on Gamespot now!

That might be a but if an exaggeration, the most you'll see in the GoW review is two girls "showing some skin", it's not even enough to consider it graphic nudity. They don't even explicitly say what the mini game is about. I'm pretty sure that Gamespot is not responsible if little kids play a game that they cant get without an ID or being in the company of an adult.
