I hate oblivion I found it boring and tedious but I am so interested in fall out I was wondering if I should pick it up?

Is it better than oblivions combat/world because I was really bored with that.

It will have more guns and is in the USA as far as I know, so it might be more "realistic" than Oblivion.

I found Oblivion a tad bit boring after about 20 hours of playing but Fallout 3 is completely different for me :P
