Anyone wanna talk about the upcoming horror games. Personally, the best one by far is Dead Space. Looks very eerie, and gory. Also Jericho is up there as one of the best coming out. Another one is a little game called Legendary: The Box, and can be described as "A long metal guitar riff from Satan him self" (EGM Magazine, don't know what issue).

As you may see, I went with the games not that many people know (Well, Jericho is sorta well known, but I know tons of people who say "WHAT?" when I mention it. What horror games look good to you?

Alone in the Dark and Dead Space seem to look like the best two right now.

Aliens: Colonial Marines - Could be badass if done well.

Alone In The Dark - PS3 delay makes me question the developers competence. Gameplay videos didn't seem all that impressive or thrilling either. If the 360 version gets good review scores I may rent the PS3 version when it comes out.

Dead Space - Gore engine sounds awesome. I hope EA don't screw this one up.

Resident Evil 5 - Will be an excellent action game , but like RE4 it probably won't deliver any scares or atmosphere.

Silent Hill: Homecoming - Looks promising, but the outsourcing has me worried since the new developer doesn't have the best track record. If they can make a game with a good story and atmosphere then I'll be impressed.

Siren: Blood Curse - No word of an EU Blu-ray release yet. I'm not willing to download the whole thing over the store.

I don't understand why so many people seem to feel that way. I've beaten RE4 a few times and I loved it. Great gameplay, awesome graphics and there were definitely some scary and creepy moments peppered throughout.

Compared to the old games it doesn't deliver the same creepy feeling.

Anyway, i expect Dead Space to be the best game i've played since Resident Evil 2.

Resident Evil 5, Silent Hill Homecoming, and the Splatterhouse remake are the titles at the top of my list. Dead Space looks interesting, as well as Project Origins

I forgot to mention that one. I'm definitely looking forward to that. I used to love rocking out to Splatterhouse 3. That game was very scary and creepy. Does anybody remember the scenes with the piano and the teddy bear?

Hmm, I really want Splatterhouse to work, but I dunno. Resident Evil 5 will probably be the best one, even though it's an action game nowadays.

A Splatterhouse remake has great potential. I must admit the story for the third installment was likened to that of a B horror flick but the game itself was incredible. Very scary, decent gameplay and plenty of gore. The boss battles were intense and very scary and the music score was very effective in setting the mood. Just thinking about this genuinely makes me want to go find a Sega Genesis so I can play it one more time.

P.S. If anyone remembers the piano and teddy bear scenes, I'd love to reminisce.
