Vagrant Story?

Actually I used the words "disagreed" in that statement and did imo, veryfying they were nothing more than an opinion. Your failed attempt to make me look contradictory failed...Try again. It was a disagreement not an ivalidation, learn proper debate next time and prove a contradiction properly. :D

Nope, when I donot like a game I use disagree and than I proceed as to why I donot like it. Nor do I attack others for different tastes. What I do get on peoples cases are bold statements that make little to no sense or when they attack others tastes as that you have done. Your only sayign this as you have utterly nothing to add to the argument and you have thus lost it. And also failed attempt to twist my words. When we praise a game, its an opinion, when we diss it as you say it is an opinion. The problem was you got condescending with some one as if your tastes were superior. Add to the fact that you also used critics score for your evidence, to prove a opinion is fact was quite pointless. You have been proven wrong by myslef and several others, so thus you have nothing else to argue with.

^ I never said gaming tastes were not subjective but my opinion of liking Vagrant Story is more valid when I a. Explain why b. Have Objective data supporting its quality 90s in gamerankings , 9.6 on GS, 9.1 user score. Greatest hits title. Whenever I trash a game like FFIX I use a variety of reasons to attempt to validate my opinion because I know it is an extremely well recieved game.Banjo_Kongfooie

But they did explain it, one acctually gave good reasons, you were attempting to invalidate their opinions, but now your just attempting to back track on your arguments on your real intentions. Simple as that...

Regardless whether you disliked this game, your opinion holds no weight against the thousands that did like this game. You're pretty much fighting a losing battle trying to get your opinion across. This game was generally well recieved and there is no escaping that fact.

You should definately try it out, if you have a psp you could download it with a EU psn account if you do not want to shell out dough for the ps1 game.

It is widely considered one of the best ps1 games and is universally well recieved by critics and gamers.

If you actually read the thread there were reasons given to why the person hated the game, it was Banjo trying to invalidate it. If you read the various threads from him on this forum you will see the problems with his arguments.
