now say when you buysomething a wii or psp does it come with warranty or do you have to buy it?

It comes with a warranty, but typically you have to pay for shipping and you have to wait for several weeks. i think the Wii comes with a one year warranty. I usually just buy the replacement plans available at EB/Gamestop. If the system bricks, they give you a new one, no questions, no waiting. Especially useful if you own a 360.

so the replacment plans will only work for like the power brick you have? and is that free too?

Yeah it works. I think for the Wii it's like 40 or 50 bucks per year. Worth it if you don't feel like waiting for weeks on end to get your system fixed.
