every boys daydream from Injustice 2...

I'm doing an 8th playthrough of STALKER: Call of Pripyat on my laptop while I have a 7th in progress on my PC. Even though the core missions are the same for both, they still manage to feel different from each other because the game world functions independent of the mission.

Just a comparison of STALKER: Call of Pripyat with the Complete Mod, Absolute Nature v4.04 and Absolute Nature v4.04 with AtmosFear. I might need to turn down gamma and brightness in the latter. Or, maybe it just different ToD.

Anyway, I like the Absolute Nature and AtmosFear combo.

These screenshots are sweet. Sure has come a long way from the days of Super Mario Bros

What is a good game....specifically for graphics? Even if the game is garbage, what do you consider the best....no matter the platform and/or PC?

Honestly, this is one of the best ideas that i have heard of for the games discussion forum. So maybe we can riot against them all and claim this thread as the official screenshot forums?!

The inventory is probably one of the least-noticed aspect of a game. But, they can get irritating if they're not implemented correctly.

That's what I found out after playing STALKER: Call of Chernobyl. One pesky flaw I dislike is not knowing the status of my items whether they're active or available to be traded. It applies to both weapons and artifacts. One time, I sold multiple artifacts of the same types. it turned out, I also sold by mistake an artifact that protected me from the radiation of the other active artifacts. I was puzzled why my health bar was dropping rapidly in a safe area. Good thing I caught it.

Another flaw in the SoC inventory system is the scroll mechanic. If I have so many items that it require scrolling, clicking on an item on at bottom will cause the inventory screen to go back to the top items. It could be a chore just attempting to get ammo from the storage chest.

Call of Pripyat fixed all those which is another reason why it's my favorite in the series. I can tell immediately which weapons and artifacts are active.
