I really like that new X box one X is the smallest x box ever and the games coming out for it look cool. But I did not see a big difference in the visuals. Is that because I was watching the E3 presentation on a 1080 P TV

Nothing really stood out.

Anthem looks dull.

Yeah I really liked it. The system looks very slick and they showed a lot of great games. Forza 7 and Anthem both looked stunning.

It was solid... I'm definitely excited for a bunch of games that were announced.

I swear to god, they heard Destiny 2 was coming to PC and they scrapped Andromeda 2 and started making Anthem. Either that, or Andromeda was just a "beta" for Anthem because that looked way too close in terms of gameplay...

Microsoft: "Crap, Destiny 2 is coming to PC and Playstation! Ummmm...DICE! DICE MAKE US A CO-OP SOCIAL SHOOTER THINGY!"

DICE: "Can't. Busy. Battlefront 2, Battlefield 1 DLC. Next game. Go ask Bioware, they messed up last time, anyway"

Microsoft: "What?! No no no, they make RPGs we cant have them mak--

DICE: "That was before. This is now"

Microsoft: "Shit you're right. No one really likes them right now anyway."

*walks over to Bioware's door, taps on it gently*

Microsoft: "Heyyyyyyyyyyy buddy, so I'm gonna need you to stop working on Andromeda 2 and...

Bioware: "But..."

Microsoft" ...and make a new game. Just do the same thing. Sci-fi. Armor suits. Zip zooming around. The usual"

BIoware:"But....the RPG! The choice! CONVO WHEELS!"

Microsoft: "Nope....don't worry about it. Just make us a Destiny, ok? And don't worry about a lot of content, we will just put it in the DLC"

Bioware: "sigh..."

And ta-da, there you have you E3 buzz

------------

In all seriousness, I thought it was pretty neat. I am looking forward to what MS has to offer, especially being a PC gamer. Wish they would attempt cross-platform multiplayer again though like they did with Shadowrun.

well EA and Activision do like to copy each other. Anthem definitely looks a lot prettier than Destiny, but everything we know about Anthem, if you just leave out the word "freelancer" you'd think the person was talking about Destiny.

There was this one game...I think it was called "Last Night" or somethin, but it was done in old-school 2d sprites and had this real blade runner feel. Want to try that.

Looking forward to Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Loved the first season.

and always, Metro. Love Metro. Great, moody shooters.

Overall, though, I feel like MS makes a really good argument for not buying an Xbox if you have an up to date PC.

Well I thought the Microsoft conference was a big disappointment they didn't show any games that I was interested in and 5oo quid for a console is a rip off I dunno guys I was just expecting more from Xbox.

From a microsoft standpoint, no, horrible. 1 console exclusive new reveal (ori) and a bunch of timed exclusives and rehashes.

From a game perspective, sure.

Metro is hype, Anthem, Dragonball Fighter Z, Charming Shadow of War ogre, Ashen, Ass's Creed Origin, Dwarf shooter game, The Last Night, the platformer with the fox, and Sea of Thieves might be fun on heavy sale with friends,

Overall it was a decent showing of new games, just no reason to own an xbox one x.

It certainly looks much better than destiny 2 though, sadly it's always online.

Also add a The to the title: The Last Night

Meh about Life is strange

Metro is always super cool, if it looks like that cool cuz the graphics and animation are top notch but it was non in game but in engine + a lot of scripted stuff going on there

I feel like they make a good argument for not buying an xbox one if you have a non toaster pc, xbox one, a ps4, or the ability to buy any of these things.

Funny thing is that it's coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One, the latter just bought marketing rights to showcase the scorpio.

I enjoyed it since it gave us a first look on a few much anticipated games. But as far as console exclusives are concerned, I think XBOX is way behind PS4.

MS had a number of good looking games and a few purchases for sure but nothing had that WOW factor. What I am surprised at is the price of Cuphead. A $19.99 game being pushed as a big title for so long yet so cheap? Makes me wonder.

Most of teh games shown will be available on PS4, some of the XBOX exclusives will be available on PC...so not much XBOX in the XBOX conference.

In terms of the One X, its a cool piece of kit and if someone has not bought into the current gen, itst he way to go in terms of power but why would those people not buy the PS4 with its superior list of games?

MS are done in this gen.

The upgraded hardware is cool, but with the new consoles coming out in 2018 or 2019, why bother(same for Sony). But I will say I was somewhat impressed with the exclusives, things don't look so bad for MS after all.

I like what Microsoft has to offer and all my 3rd party games will now be bought for my Xbox One X and my PS4 Pro will be for exclusives. Gaming is my hobby so I can less how much all of this cost! I will buy it and enjoy it!

i only watched the first hour or so but didn't see much in the way of must have exclusives. forza 7 looked amazing, the weather effects, wet roads etc were superb. bit disappointed that they chose to trot out a load of indie titles. sea of thieves and state of decay 2 looked fun if unremarkable. i didn't seen anything to convince me the one x won't struggle for system selling exclusives for at least the first 6-12 months.

came away impressed with the hardware but more looking forward to the new metro than anything else

Remember when that buzzword spewing stooge, Phil, was touting that presentation as mind blowing in the days before. It didn't even came close.

@sayuta: I don't have an Xbox but Sea of Thieves looks even better than it did last year.

Overall I think that's one of the most fun looking games coming along in recent memory.

But The Evil Within 2 took my heart, and three platforms get to enjoy it. I bet it'll look amazing for Xbox gamers regardless_
