I have Jurassic Park on Genesis which was good, imo, but other than that I don't know of any others that I would like. Ive heard JP Rampage is good but Ive never really played it. Tryed it once and didnt really know what was going on.

I was thinking of the Turok games but after watching some videos I dont know. They seem a bit silly. Well I mean theyre not what Im looking for. They have like alien storylines and humanoid dino enemies. I'm looking for something that represents dinosaurs realisticly. I know the most recent Turok for 360 is along those lines so I plan to try that out. What about the Dino Crisis games. Are they worth playing? Ive never tryed those before.

I have NES, Genesis, N64, PS, DC, PS2, Cube, Xbox and PC but I don't think my PC can handle big games.

The first Dino Crisis in my opinion is awesome, but only If your into Resident Evil because it's the same gameplay mechanic but with Dinosaurs. I never played the second and from what I heard the more recent ones suck. Also that new game Jurassic is pretty fun and it's exactly like Nazi Zombies for CODWAW.

As Foulcry said, Dino Crisis is pretty good. The Turok games may look silly, but if you stick with the ones on the N64, you're in for some good and fun times, I remember playing the first when it came out when I was 7 and I still adore it this very day. Second one is really good, the third could've been better.

Turok 1 (N64/PC) - It's got a lot of dinosaursand classic gameplay. My favorite thing about this one is it's the only Turok game where you fight humans (well, you do in the newest one too, but they're covered in armor and don't squirt blood, lame).

Turok 2 (N64/PC) - one of my favorite games of all time, although it features probably the least amount of dinosaurs in the series, it's just an incredible game. It does give you the dino hunting atmosphere, evenyour only battlingthe occassionalRaptor among all the other creatures.(I prefer the PC version due to it's better framerate and quicksave feature.)

*I haven't played the 3rd one yet.

Turok Evolution (PS2/Xbox/PC) - isn't nearly as good as the first two,but has a good selection of dino's and despite it's many flaws, provides the signature Turok gameplay and weapons.

Turok (PS3/360/PC) - the dinosaurs are really well done which is good because the alien stuff has been completely removed, I think that sucks, but sounds like it might be more up your alley. The gameplay is much more generic and there are flaws with the difficulty and checkpoint system so it gets extremely frustrating, but there is fun to be had in between those frustrating moments. The online multiplayer's great if you can find a match and it features AI dino's to battle as well.

All of the games allow you to shoot dinosaurs with a bow and arrow and that's always awesome.

For the Genesis, I'd say The Lost world:Jurassic Park, Its a top down tactical shooter, it was pretty awesome back in the day

N64 Turok:Dinosaur Hunter, Brilliant game

Turok Evolutions for the PS2 was pretty good, it wasnt the best game, but its not the worst.

For the PC I'd have to say Carnivores 1, 2 or Ice Age but you'll want to find some patches for it so that it works on your computer, They're basically hunting games but full of dinosaurs (Apart from Carnivores Ice Age which is like Saber Tooth tigers, Mammoths etc.)

Another low spec PC game is Trespasser, although thats mroe of an aqquired taste when it comes to games, It's like the Grandfather of any games with physics in, but its probably the buggiest game I've ever played, but I love it.

Hope that helps :)

I think Dino Crisis (1-2) for PS are very good games. My opinion: Dino Crisis 1 - is a good survival horror with elements of action and with many puzzles. Dino Crisis 2 has more good graphics, it is not a fearful game and there are more action and less puzzles than in Dino Crisis 1.

Primal Rage (Sega Genesis) - dinosaur fighting.

The Lost World on the playstation. It's hard, really hard but also really cool. You play as 5 different characters, a comsognathus, trex, raptor, human and a fishy thing, if I remember correctly.

rex

And ofcourse Dino Crisis 1 and 2 are awesome.

Ye,kingdavid562 you are right! Tomb Rider 3 has a good level where are dinosaurs and crashsite of military plane (war plane). I like this level very much. You can use a special plane's gun there to kill dinosaurs.

You should check out jurrasic park: operation genesis for the xbox. It is a game that lets you create a theme park of dinosaurs.

JP: Rampage was ok. I liked Turok alot. Dino Crisis 1&2 were good on the PS. If you dare after the first two there is a Dino Crisis 3 for xbox too. (if you aren't a big fan of the first two you will probably not like it)

Yah Dino Crisis 2 was really good, better than the first I think. Turok Dinosaur hunter for N64 was really good. There's an old game for PC called Carnivores and Carnivores 2 that are both purely dinosaur hunting games. They are old so they dont require much of a computer to run and they are really fun.

If you fancy an adventure game, id like to recommend Lost Eden from the mid-nineties on the PC. Its set in an alternative world where people and dinosaurs co-exist. The people are of the nature tribes folk variety and give an really nice fantasy style feeling. The game was massively athmospheric and featured some of the most amazing music ever.

.

Heres a youtube clip of the intro so you can see how it looks:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYx3GAXtHPE&NR=1

.

Heres a link where you can legally download the PC-CD version and see many nice screenshots:

http://www.oldgames.sk/en/game/lost-eden/downloads/

.

Have fun and keep in mind its an old game and might need an MS-DOS emulator like Dosbox.

Regards!

starfox adventures had good dinosaurs, the whole game was basically a dinosaur themed Zelda, although some of the dinosaurs fall under your humanoid issue with Turok.

Old thread but as others have mentioned - Turok 1, Joe & Mac, Jurassic Park for MD/Gen, Tresspasser (quite crappy game tbh, but unique), Dino Crisis (never really got into it), Primal Rage (broken fighting system), ect.

I have a weird love for Tresspasser, mostly nostalgia since I played the demo alot when I was young, but yeah, it's quite unique and can give quite an interesting experience :P

Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2. Especially if you like the older Resident Evil games. Dino Crisis is often accurately described as 'Resident Evil 2 with dinosaurs instead of zombies' while Dino Crisis 2 had original gameplay and was epic.

He probably means the arcade game of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. This is a fun beat'em up by Capcom. The Sega CD Cadillacs and Dinosaurs was made by Rocket Science games and is a totally different game. The Sega CD game is really painful, stay away from it. I am a huge Sega fan, but even I couldn't find any redeeming qualities on it.

Have a look at

Radical Rex (Genesis, Sega CD, SNES)

Dino City (SNES)

Dino Land (Genesis)

Dino Rex (part of the Taito Memories II Joukan collection on PS2)

Paraworld (PC)

 Disney's Dinosaur (Dreamcast)

Tom Mason's Dinosaurs for Hire (Genesis)

The Flintstones (Genesis)

3-D Ultra Pinball: The Lost Continent (PC)

Bermuda Syndrome (PC)
