Tomb Raider - DE Xbox One
I'm finishing off Witcher 3... its taken me over a year, its a hard game to stick with because for whatever reason I get bored of it quickly.
After that i'm gonna replay some older games... Zanzarah and Evil Islands i think. And probably start up another Civ 5 game.
Shadow Warrior on the Xbone, and Bravely Second on my 3DS. I tend to go through phases with JRPG's, whether they be slow or fast is random, and this is definitely a slow phase. Ive been playing it since it came out and I've only managed 32 hours so far. It isnt boring or anything, I'm just playing it slow. So at this rate i'll have it beat by september lol.
Just beat Doom, Spelunky and Rise of Tomb Raider. But now I’m still playing 20XX (Megaman look alike), Planetbase and MGSV. I just love infiltrate people’ base and stole their staff. I didn’t really care about their resources, being stealthy and able to fulton those guys were something. LOL
Look at my sig below, it'll tell you what games I'm currently playing now!
2 years later.
Necro thread aside, at the time I said in my original statement, I was playing different games and I don't remember what I played since I change my "currently playing" sig, I'll just list the games I'm playing now as of now on the day I post this:
Last time I play new slots online https://mr.bet/casino/new , I abandoned computer games and games for pc, although I have a year subscription to this platform)
Devil May Cry 5 on both P.C. and PS4 is my main game right now. Playing some ToeJam and Splatoon 2 on the side.
*Been finding the complaints about the Lady censorship odd, it's on every platform. So for those suggesting it's PS4 only I can only assume are not really playing the game.
I am currently playing Sonic Forces (PS4)
It's going great honestly I feel like Sega had all this itnerest in the 90s especially with Sonic but I think the games have gotten better over time (and potentially fallen off the radar)
I want to say gamespot gave it like a 5 and that's just totally undeserved it definitely should get at least an 8
The sonic games of the 90s etc had all kinds of issues, like, everywhere... whereas nowadays I feel like the experience is e seamless and also the most fun.
I just filled out this Sega survey and basically they have all their franchises and what to see more of and I am curious about other stuff but honeslty Sonic is still #1 at this point
It's the franchise I have the ost experience with and yeah I'm just ok with it.
@RSM-HQ: Im curious. I'm playing through The Division 2 on both xbox one and PC simultaneously (although now more sticking to xbox one) - why do you play on both PC and console? I bought both because I've recently become a bit more a PC gamer, but I played endless hours of The Division 1 on xbox and loved it, so it felt right to continue with it there. Then I felt I might be missing out on a better PC experience so bought it there.
To be honest, its a very different experience on xbox and pc. Playing on a big tv screen on xbox makes the world feel a bigger scale, and have more 'place' for some reason, and its more challenging as you can't see quite aswell so you tend to move up more and rely more on assault rifles than semi auto rifles. On PC everything is razor sharp, but the gunplay feels a bit different, in some ways better, some ways worse, just different. Anyway the point is I'm really enjoying both experiences as they're quite different, do you like to see how DMC5 plays differently from PC to console?
@brenton_332211_: For purchasing games on multiplatforms it's a trivial, maybe even seen as a foolish answer- 'support', and 'extended replay-value'.
Do not exactly have finical difficulties so buying two(or more) copies of a game to me is playing my part in developers I feel are worth the re-purchase, and quite a few tend to have a niche customer-base. Without us buying multiple copies some of these products struggle.
Maybe more true to how I game as mentioned also because I adore replay-value and getting 100% sometimes just isn't enough for me. Once upon a time bought DMC3 five different times. so the concept is not new to me_
I've done this though various platforms, sometimes even mobile. Recently re-bought Makai Senki Disgaea Refine on PS4 despite finishing Bāru on Switch. I also rebought Owlboy on PS4 despite beating and 100% on GoG years prior. (though this was because I wanted a physical copy of Owlboy as well)
For a game I'm less excited for will usually go on one platform. It varies on excitement, personal interest, and most importantly if I would replay this kind of game, or excited for a different take on a game I already like. In the above cases. I will
If I think a game only benefits from mouse and keyboard (D00M IV, Divinity: OSII) will only purchase the P.C. version. For example, if Quake: Champions ever releases on consoles I will just stick with the P.C. version. Though I am tempted with Divinity on PS4, read it's a decent port. .
Some games I regretted purchasing on P.C. because of toxic/ hack filled communities, but won't jump into that. Anyone who games on P.C. knows it exists more than it should
The upcoming CastleVania collection is going to be another one. I play my 3DS quite frequently, and love Super CastleVania IV. Knowing I can get that on P.C. PS4 and Switch. . . Dood! I'm buying on all three.
I'm just that kind of person lol.
Hope you are satisfied with my answer.
@d9p: I was heavily playing multiplayer games like CSGO, Fortnite, and Overwatch, but have switched over to majority single player games now.
Just finished chrono trigger for the first time recently, now I'm debating between Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy 8, Dark Souls 1, and Witcher 3.
So many great games, so little time... I wish I could go back to elementary when I didnt give a rats ass about school and focus on all these great games.
@RSM-HQ: Thanks for answering! Yea I also don't mind supporting the devs buying multiple copies sometimes, but for me I do it to compare the experiences on console and PC - maybe I'm just indecisive but sometimes I can't go past chilling out on the couch playing on a big tv, and othertimes I want to be upclose, headphones on, pixel perfect precision haha so that's why I have both for something like div2. Also a little bit is FOMO - as much as I like the couch console experience, I wanted to check the PC experience isnt massively better, and that I shouldnt be investing the time in that instead. Wierdly I'm happy playing both, each when I feel like it, and am honestly having pretty much as good a time on both as the other!
@brenton_332211_: Had my upgraded rig since prepping for D00M IV, and for me its been tied to my main television next to my Playstation and Switch dock (which I barely play docked)
I agree comparing the experiences can be interesting, but not a huge factor for me personally on the visual side of things.
Mainly because I suffer from various visual dysfunctions (some call it sea sick syndrome), migraine headaches, nausea, and vomiting. so while I can notice more crisp textures, putting focus on something so minimal in motion is not within my best interest while playing a game. And better I take on the whole picture as it is. It's also why I cannot play games on VR or even Gravity Daze properly.
While some like to take a stab at console performance I've found some of these games to be doing a very good job. Mainly on Capcoms end I suppose.
