What game made you start becoming a gamer.

What game did you buy a console for, or where you a casual gamer who played one awesome hardcopre game and has been a hardcore game ever since.

Pretty much I had been play WoW, quit and then finally got spore. It was the biggest dissapointment of my life.

Then I found out about LBP (don't know how) noticed the PS3 was awesome and have been gaming ever since.

Well I've been playing games regularly on and off for the past 15 years, don't really know if I ever got too hardcore.

Halo 2 / Day of Defeat Classic was probably the hardest core I've ever been. But I've played many other online shooters since then.

i never have been a "hard core gamer"... but i started with spyro and tomb raider for the ps1

I think Doom/Doom II made the most impact on me as a youngster. It got me thinking about games in a different light, and was miles ahead of what you could play on the consoles of that era.

The arcades didn't really convince me to be a gamer because they ate too many of my quarters.

I started with a SNES I got for Xmas one year

Super Mario 64 and Pokemon Blue those games changed my life forever when i first played them

Streets of Rage (Mega Drive), Golden Axe (Mega Drive), Street Fighter 2 (Arcade) :)

Maybe the 2D platformer Jazz Jackrabbit 2, the game got me really addicted back then. Then I gone into the PC gaming.

Super Mario Brothers on the NES was the first game I ever played.

PC: Lost vikings, Doom, Dune 2.

These, plus Pac-Man, Defender, Breakout, Space Invaders, Missile Command, and Combat got me going, but it was Pitfall II (the first game I ever owned that you could "beat") that got me forever hooked. Oh, and I loved Star Raiders as well.

By the time the NES came out I was already a dedicated gamer. Games like SMB, LoZ, the original Final Fantasy, Metroid, Dragon Warrior, Bionic Commando, Punch-Out!! & RC Pro-Am were my passion.

well im 21 and what i remember when i was like 3 or 4 is playing the Nintendo Mario brothers and that duck hunting game. and then moved on to the Sega Genesis, Game Boy Pocket, the N64, Game Boy Color, PS1, PS2, PSP, PC gaming (2007) , PS3 (today)

the way i listed the consoles is the way my gaming time line went.

Although I've been gaming since 1984, it was Sonic 1 on the Master System around 1990/91 that fully got me into gaming. Loved that game, still do.

I have been a gamer my entire life. I was a die hard Mario and Pokemon fan when I was little though. Those were the only game franchises that I played.

However, in 2005, my friend introduced me to Runescape(LOL, I know.) I played that for 2 years, ditching my Pokemon and Mario obsession. I quit. A few months later, I got WoW for my twelfth(sp?) birthday. I was then welcomed into the world of PC gaming and never looked back at consoles.

I never dreamed of the day where I would play Call of Duty online on my PC. Time flies by fast.

It wasn't so much a game that got me hooked as did my father. He was actually a stay-at-home dad (mother was an RN), so we'd go out to garage sales and find old NES cartridges among other things. He taught me the basics, and it didn't take long to catch on from there.

Ahh yeah. That was the first game I've ever played in my life back when I was 5.

Frogger sucked me in and Mario Bros closed the deal.

My older sister got the NES for Christmas and I didn't even know what it was. When I first saw them playing Super Mario Bros, I was hooked.

I started gaming with Super Mario World for the SNES in 1992 but I'd say the **** got serious in 2002 when I was introduced to Counter-Strike for the PC. I built my first PC in 2003 for that game.

StarTropics for the NES. I started playing games when I was 3, and of the NES games I had this one hooked me the most.

I started my gaming career when I was about 5. My parents got me the NES and the first console game that I played was Super Mario Bros.

I didn't do console gaming for a few years. What got me back into it was when I had cancer a few years ago and I got a Playstation 2. That re-ignited my gaming career.
