Have to be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I loved the Donkey Kong Country games on the SNES, and other games on the N64, but that's what turned me into a gamer. I'd have to say Final Fantasy X sucked me into the unbreakable hold of gaming though, and I haven't looked back since.
My dad and uncle,my dad wallpapered my uncles house and my uncle brought a megadrive for him as payment.Dad decided to give it to me and my brother for christmas ,but in the end gave into temptation and gave it us early.
We got jurassic park,jungle strike and sonic 2.Still remember dad being obsessed with jungle strike and would stay up all night playing.He never advanced past megadrive and now owns and still plays that same console to this day.I might hate him but i admit he is truly a retro lover :) Been in love with gaming the moment i picked up the pad,never had or seen a games console before.Was about 5-6
Even though I only play console games now it was Alone in the Dark on PC, and Dark Seed, that got me in to gaming. Some of the Roger Wilco Sierra games too.
First was Buggy sor psx. I ownd so much in that game i could beat any other. Older brother gives Resident Evil 2. When I played that night I had one of the most horrific and gory dreams I ever had. I was 11 at the time.
Well, I played games since I was kid, but I started spending hours and hours on psx. Diablo and Resident Evil : Survivor was my favorite. And then I started playing Warcraft 3
Street Fighter 2 on the NES was the first game I ever played. But the first game I ever owned was Pokemon Blue. From that time on, life's been a lot more fun.
Might and Magic series for sure, been playing them ever since I can remember. I used to watch my dad play them when I was younger, then I started playing them myself probably when I was about nine or ten. But after I branched out into playing other games like Dungeon Siege, then I started gaming a lot more and took gaming a lot more seriously as well.
That would probably be Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on the Sega Mega Drive. I have been a constant gamer ever since. Before the milennium, (before I was 9) the games that stood out for me the most would have been Sonic 2, of course... and: Metal Gear Solid (PS1) Grand Theft Auto (PS1) Resident Evil 2 (PS1) Tomb Raider I and II (PS1) Got all of them around release and those games were some of the best of the 90s, and all time!
Super Mario Bros on the NES (it grew to Zelda and Final Fantasy later on) I think mostly it was Sonic 2 on the Genesis though. I also loved the Street Fighter II series
It's hard to put my finger on...but I'd say the game that made me become a gamer was Super Mario RPG, and what impacted me most was the Zelda series. LONG LIVE LINK!!! ( what is he..like, 24, now?)
