first person shooters tend to be pretty shallow experiences.
from a multiplayer standpoint, theyre pretty much the bottom of the barrel.
they can be fun sometimes however.
the worst genre ever = rts
mmorpg's get dishonorable mention
Sports is worst of all. I also don't care much for racing. War themed FPS isn't the best either. Um, puzzles usually suck.
Most RTS games, I make an exception for WarCraft III however because the mods are fun to play.
Aside from that, I mostly avoid puzzle games, with the exception of Tetris.
There's always an exception hahaha.
Sports and FPS.
The former I am sure I'll never enjoy, but I'm going to try and give the latter another chance.
least favorite have been racing and sports games in the past but lately I'm finding the quality of the newer titles more appealing.
Used to love FPS of all kinds but lately all the newer titles here seem to be the same old formula...all flash and not much substance.
Oh well.
I noticed a lot of people don't usually like sports games... I kinda like playing all the career modes and things in baseball and hockey games even though I enjoy actually playing both sports.
I do, however, avoid football and basketball games pretty frequently though.
Racing games and fighting games are my least favorite. I didn't know sports games weren't popular. I like the 2K series and became a fan of Fifa this year.
Fighting games. Can't stand them.
Also racing games.
They both seem like one aspect taken out of a complete game to me.
I think sports games and driving sims are genres I can't really get into, and then mostly the first one. I've had fun with some driving sims, but Burnout is something I simply have more fun with.
Most shooters are pretty stale and boring-looking, but there are a few I like.
Sports games I'll never understand, why not just go play them yourself? They'll never be as good as the real thing.
Ultimately, I'd have to say my least favourite is rythem games. I just don't see the fun in them at all.
With the exception of Halo, because I crave the design aspects, FPS games have grown stale. What once was my favorite of all genres is probably my least nowadays--bought the first Battlefield game for twelve dollars about a month ago, played it for fifteen minutes, turned it off, and thought to myself, "Wow, this is effing crap."
