What If They Made An Open World Call Of Duty?

I think that would be awesome. What would you think/what would it be like? Fighting into a base that you traveled in a humvee to to get a new weapon for online multiplayer etc...

Ya i agree that kinda sounds like borderlands but all CODafied.

Only if it had singleplayer. I don't know if I'd want CoD to be an MMO or something like that.

A lot of people would go broke spending real money on fake bullets to make sure they never run out, or weapons dealing on Ebay selling level 228 assault rifles for more destructive damage.

Well, Activision would charge you 15 bucks a month to play, 5 extra bucks for every 10 minutes you play and 100 bucks a month to keep Kotick happy.

Srsly though, it'd be pretty lame, though there's talk of a CoD MMO in the works... :| I've pretty much given up on the series after MW2.

hmmmm, i agree that cod is designed for small maps, and battlefield for big maps, but i wouldnt go as far as saying battlefield was open world. Its big but not like open world on gta/far cry 2 as some of you mentioned. Its an ok idea, but probabaly wouldnt happen. I would still buy it though :P
