I own alot of Crown Gems you could say. Everything from a PCEngine(TG 16 from japan) with CD drive, along with a number of games, including the Valis series and a number of other games. Games such as the Cosmic fantasy series which only I believe one of that title ever made it sateside. Also many rare games like the Shining Force games(Including Shining Force CD and the US version of Shining Force 3), Chrono Trigger and a number of others are a proud part of my collection.
What are you waiting for? Play it![QUOTE="Emerald_Warrior"][QUOTE="Kage1"]
My copy of Metal Slug for the Neo Geo. Never been played.

I dont own a Neo Geo. I got the game free when a friend closed up his videostore and gave it to me. Nobody ever rented it.

Ah, I see.I would not play a copy of a Neo Geo Metal Slug. The reason I would not is well that Neo Geos themselves are expensive and so are the games. They are rather rare to say the least. There are plenty of Metal Slug ports for me to play it on....
Is it for Neo Geo AES, MVS, or CD? If it's for MVS, it's worth 60-100 dollars. If it's for Neo Geo CD, it's worth around 100. But if it's for AES and it's complete, it could be worth upwards of THREE GRAND. Of course, you have to make sure that it isn't either: 1. A bootleg, which is common for Neo Geo or 2. An MVS cart converted over to AES, which is worth about 200.My copy of Metal Slug for the Neo Geo. Never been played.

I don't know, I have lots of things really. For the Mega Drive I have all the stuff that is normally considered rare : Battle Mania Daiginjou, Panorama Cotton, Alien Soldier, The Hybrid Front etc. Same thing for the Saturn. With the exception of that Ninja Taromaru game which never interest me, I have mostly all the stuff people are paying a lot of money for nowadays. And not only that, but on some games like Shining Force III and AZEL I have copies from all three regions.
As for systems (both console PC), I have many that probably a lot of people here have never seen in person or even heard about, like the NEC PC-88, PC-98, PCE DUO, PC-FX, Sharp X68000, Fuji FM77AV, MSX2+. I also have two arcade cabinets, an original NEO*GEO MVS 2-25, and a TAITO EGREET II. And of course lots of games that would be considered very rare in the west, specially nowadays that the internet collector's market is more popular than ever.
Well, it was a mint condition limited edition Ocarina of Time gold cart, until of course all my N64 games happen to be in a flood.

A friend bought it to rent out in his videostore but didnt know much about videogames. No one ever rented it because I guess no one had a Neo Geo to play it. When he closed up his store, he gave me all of the nes games and the only Neo Geo game in the store. He gave me the original case, booklet and the game. Ohyeah, I know how much it's worth. My copy of Metal Slug for the Neo Geo. Never been played.

You are one lucky guy!
Ignoring the Resident Evil Saturn game (not too rare), my most collectible game is the European PAL version of Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Probably my Atari Lynx. I know its not rare, but some of my games are pretty hard to find (like only 5 people on gamespot claim to own a copy of European Soccer Challenge for the Lynx, compared to 75000 that have Halo2 in their collection) and for some reason I actually like my 32x. Everyone says its crap, but games like Kolibri, Virtua Racing Deluxe, Virtua Fighter, and Shadow Squadron are hard to beat on any console from that time IMO.
This is hard. .... i would have to go with RockMan Battle & Fighters and also Fantastic Night Dreams: Cotton for the NeoGeo Pocket Color.
I would like to get my hands on a NeoGeo AES system though sometime in my life.
I guess my kiddy game machine :

Man, I love that cabbie, specially if the awesome CAPCOM logo on the sides is in mint condition. The CUTE cabinet is actually pretty common, but nonetheless it is an awesome and cla$$ic arcade cabinet. Congrats for owning one!
At one time I had the chance to buy one for myself and for a very decent price, but it wasn't in the condition I wanted it.

Mine is in super condition on any side :
What is your most cherished item in your video game collection? This could be a game, a console, an accessory, a video game related collectible; whatever if it has to do with gaming. It could be the game you played the most, the most expensive item in your collection, the rarest, or just sentimentally important to you. Let's hear about it. For me I have to go with my TurboGrafx-16. It's just one of those items that once you add it to your collection, you know you're a real collector. It's cool to have the Sega, Nintendo, and early Atari machines, but then a lot of people have those. For me, it's like my badge that says: I'm a classic game collector. I also have a Sega CD and Sega Saturn, which I feel almost the same way about. I know their very common in other parts, but in Northern California, I have rarely seen them.Emerald_Warriori dont have anything rare.. but my saturn does feel cool for the same reason:P(except i live on southern California)
My most prized possession would be my copy of Christmas NiGHTS with cardboard sleeve. It isn't particularly rare and I have the re-release which came with the Japanese remake of NiGHTS, but at the time it took me ages to hunt it down and I still love to play it every Christmas to see if the old Saturn is still working.
I have a few that I hold as my "crown jewels" :
1) Mint/Complete - Suikoden 2 (PSone)
2) Sealed/Mint - Ico (PS2)
3) Complete/Mint - Golden Axe Warrior & Phantasy Star (SMS)
