That game isn't rare at all. It'd be a stretch to even call it uncommon. I see it nearly every time I go into a games store and you could get on eBay and get a copy for under 30 dollars right now.Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes - super rare game

I have an 80GB PS3 that can play PS2 games. Guess that's moving up there as something rare. Lol. Didnt think of any of my consoles as rare. That and I used to have an old 20GB Pro 360 that never once failed. Though I traded it in for a new 250GB S. The Pro system isnt rare, but not having one that Red Ringed is. :P
Hm I'd say Final Fantasy, Golden Axe II, Secret of Mana, Warsong and Kaikan Phrase.
I don't know, I have lots of things really. For the Mega Drive I have all the stuff that is normally considered rare : Battle Mania Daiginjou, Panorama Cotton,
Panzer_Zwei
Oh my gosh!! Cotton! I LOVED that game! It was hard for me to play as a kid, but I thought it was so cute.
ah... I feel so nostalgic *wipes tear from eye*

Panorama Cotton is quite different from the original arcade game that you're probably referring to though.
I guess for me it would be the black label copies of Final Fantasy 7 & Bubble bobble featuring Rainbow Islands for The playstation 1/PSone Which are were hard for me to track down. But I managed to do it. Speaking of the TurboGrafix 16 if I can track down a copy of Parasol Stars The story of Bubble bobble 3. I'll get another Turbo to play it on. Plus still looking for Iragira which I shall eventually track down. Also will find legend of the Seven stars Mario RPG for SNES. Hunting for hard to find games is part of the joy for me.
all 1000 plus games and 20 plus consoles are crown jewels in mine !
im no fanboy !
what ever you see is what i play
and let me tell you i know what games i like just by looking at the game
i dont need a site or review to make a decision ,
infact, top gear is probably one of many games i look forward to having a sequal to to bad no one really cares in this industry any more
the only greats are the greats that are left,
they forgot alot of titles when transitioning over the years,
i dont even got enough hands to count the titles that deserve well needed sequals or remakes
I trimmed my game collection dramatically, so now I only have four or five games I play. Which is all I need. However, my crowning jewel decided to freeze at the end of the second disc, and even though it is a very popular game and can still be bought new online, Chrono Cross is the one game (along with FFX haha) that I would not be able to live without.

Not quite impossible, but it is very expensive nowadays. It probably goes around the ¥9,000 (around US$100) mark.
I've had a harder time finding it back then without the internet. The game was featured on a french MD magazine and it instantly caught my eye, it took me a few years to actually find a copy.

100$ is a bit too much for me
Gaming in Japan has always been expensive. For example some games like Contra : The Hard Corps originally retailed at ¥9,800.100$ is a bit too much for me

I had a pretty large collection before a house fire took most of it out (r.i.p xeye, jaguar, 3do, virtua boy, saturn, and backup dreamcast), but I did manage to recover a few items. fro mthe items I saved I'd say my reviewers copy of Half Life for the Dreamcast (never released) is up there, I have Samurai Showdown and Road Rash in there original boxes with all the books and stuff for the 3DO, and one of the cooler Items I still have left is a magnavox odyssey which is the first home video game console, in its original box with like 4 boxed games and all the components...
I'm also pretty fond of my Power Glove, and if you have one, I'm sure you are very fond of it too
