Sega Mega Drive
There's been more great games on more recent consoles, but I just have such fond memories of the MD.

Can't believe I'm the only one who's said this though.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the NES was a fantastic system, and it is what I thank for getting me into video games in the first place. But for me, the SNES won out because it had the total package - great graphics, great games, great gameplay, and was the first console that had so many excellent titles not only out of the gate, but throughout its supported life cycle. Not to mention it did win what would amount to the greatest console rivalry in history.[QUOTE="CellAnimation"]The Neo Geo AES.codezer0That's one console I really believe should have had more of a chance. But then again, there was a price to pay for that arcade perfect hardware... one that even back then, nobody I knew would pay. Yeah I didn't know anyone else with 1.
Here's my top 3 list based upon how many games I played and liked on them, how much time I spent on them, and how much I still play them:
1. PS2
2. N64
3. Dreamcast
The Super Nintendo. That was the golden age of gaming. No console has ever come close to its greatness.

Agreed, it will always be the SNES for me.
Xbox. Its the system that has KOTOR 1 and 2, Morrowind GOTY, and all the other RPGs I like. I mean I like ps2 and even ps1 was a good system. But the xbox is my favorite. Though I play them both equally.
PS1 & Dreamcast 8)

This.
So many good memories from PS1. First time playing twisted metal 2, metal gear solid, final fantasy 7, and syphon filter were mind blowing, then awesome obscure games like Tecmo's Deception topped the cake.
Dreamcast was epic too. I remember it took me 3 year to beat Shenmue. I used to pick it up and play it like once every couple of months for a couple of hours each session. That game was way ahead of its time. Like an interactive movie.
