Nope. NES and Genesis were my first two systems. I love them, sure, but I loved Playstation and Dreamcast the most.Isn't everyones favorite their 1st or 2nd console, or the one they had when they were 12-16?

As great as the PS2 and SNES are, PC has been and always will be the all time best gaming platform.

The pc doesn't count as a console. I know the word can't describe a pc, but game consoles exist as are. The N64 will be the N64 in 50 years. PCs just slowly evolve--they lack character. I shoot my pcs when I'm done with em, literally.
Definetly the Super Nintendo (SNES). I played the heck out of my NES as a kid and thought it ruled. Then I finally caved in and got Super Nintnedo about 2 years after it released (because they still made NES games for those 2 years). I may not have owned my SNES as long or played as much as a result, but I definetly played a lot more high-quality games on that system than most others.
After SNES, next of course would by my NES. That baby gave me 8 years of quality gaming, and I still play some of my favorites on it from time to time. I was born as a gamer on the NES.

Mine is a toss up between the NES and SNES. I love to collect games for both, but I plan on completing the ENTIRE US NES collection within the next 10 years! I have about half the entire collection now, and I will probably have all but the highest dollar items within the next 5 years. When I get down to the big boys though I will probably only purchase a few each year. After completing my NES collection, I will get more serious about completing the SNES collection before moving on to sega cart based systems.
SNES probably has the greatest overall library though, so I guess SNES would be my answer.... lol went a little off track there.
Nothing will ever beat my N64 for multiplayer Goldeneye/Perfect Dark or singlepayer OOTandybobbins16
Isn't that the truth. The last real console that stressed having four people over for split screen play--for hours on end. Ghetto rigging your tvs with a divider so people couldn't "look" at the opposing teams strategy. Then when that was over, the n64 was and still is home to the best and most magical single player experiences around.
Sega genesis I can't even begin to remember the countless nights me and my friends stayed up trying to do all the fatalities in Ultimate MK 3 with a brady games book.
Eh,looks like you are describing me and some of my friends as well! We "wasted" countless hours figuring out how to do all of the brutalities.Sega genesis I can't even begin to remember the countless nights me and my friends stayed up trying to do all the fatalities in Ultimate MK 3 with a brady games book.

Dreamcast - outstanding visuals for it's time, library of games filled with hits like crazy taxi, shenmue 1&2, doa 2, quake 3, unreal tournament, sonic, soulcalibur, jet grind radio and tons more! Games were so hard to find where I live, it was like a game itself trying to find one :D
Thankfully I discovered the wonders of auction websites :D:D
Playstation 2 because of so many reasons. One reason that I can think of off the top of my head is FFX.
