World of Warcraft. Really is a great game, but damn I wasted alot of my valuable youth playing that. When I crawled out of my gaming dungeon 9 months later; all pale, skinny, and w/ long hair; couple of my friends didnt even recognize me.

 

Friend: Hey man, it's Friday night. Everyone is going to be there, I have some girls ready to party, drinks on me. Lets roll!

Me: Naw, I think Ill stay in. Ive got a big raid tonight.

Friend: A big what???

Learn how to split your time. You can easily hang out with friends/girls and play WoW until your fingers fall off.

Mine would be I never owned a Nintendo Entertainment System. I was a Master System kid.. and proud of it! But it still would be nice to pick one up at some point.

Well, mine would have to be getting all the way to the spiraling tower in Ninja Gaiden and not knowing where the hell that damn deity statue of the wolf(?) was.  To get through Alma to meet my fate at the hands of a undetected statue? The horror!

Ive never even played half the games I own, so horrific is my backlog. I consistently buy more games armfulls at a time as well. Its been like this for years too....... oh Killer 7 (and a few dozen others) ill get to play you oneday..

I once played Shinobi for the PS2 I was one hit away from killing the butterfly queen when the horrible camera angle cause me to fall in the lava pit. I got so mad I threw my controller at the TV and spit on the screen. Eventually I found out that there was an outside wall I was suppose to crawl on and beat her shortly after.

I couldn't beat either Devil May Cry or God of War on Normal and had to do them on easy. I couldn't finish Viewtiful Joe at all, either.

That I've sold / traded in probably 100+ games and plenty of consoles over the years.  I will never forgive myself for it either.  I could have a decent sized collection if I wasn't so stupid as a kid.  I sold a NES, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, N64, Playstation, a couple versions of the Game Boy, a Game Gear, and a Xbox.  Thank god I stopped trading in games and systems.  Now I am about to rebuy a SNES for the THIRD time.  Atleast this time I know I will never get rid of it.  Just typing this out is making me sad and a little bit angry...

I could never ever beat tetris on damn super nintendo now i know thats sad you just sit there and get the blocks to fit into each other but it was damn hard on super nintendo. I spent like 2 months playing nothing but that until i finally got pissed off so much I couldnt get past level 9 and i stopped playing it.

Mine would have to be I was never able to complete Contra for the NES. It kicked my ass violently as a kid and it still does to this very day. Oh, I am so ashamed! *breaks down crying*Inu7

Hmm... I really enjoyed Quest64.  Also, I was better at Super Ghouls n Ghosts when I was 12 than I am now, 8 years later. Has anyone ever beaten this game?! I think I've only ever gotten to the 4th or 5th level..
