Super Smash Bros. Brawl... on the Wii, of course. I've been addicted to the series since Melee, and love Brawl, even though I expected it to be a better game.
Lost Odyssey (360). Close second would be Mass Effect (360, PC). But Lost Odyssey has given me everything I used/still love about JRPGs. JRPGs being my favorite genre, so there you go.
My favorite game so far this generation is, Assassins Creed and Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360. Even though Assassins Creed was a short game, I really enjoyed the graphics and game play. My favorite game this generation will most likely change when Gears of War 2 and Fable II get released.
