PS4 or Xbox 720? For myself I've been an Xbox gamer for about 5 years but I might switch to PlayStation to just switch it up a bit. :) How about you?

xbox, i enjoy halo too much but not right away. but i will probably get the new playstation down the line, like when it goes to 200$ on a black friday sale.
Most likely PS4 because it will have free online. Might buy the Wii-U too once a good Mario game comes out, and the new Zelda comes out.
if Sony continues it's practice with it's first party, and even improves upon them by helping with marketing rather then shipping them off just to die on the market (Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Gravity Rush, lots of others). then yeah i will.
Microsoft not really interested.
I'm in it for the games, not how much of a media hub it is.
will eventually get the WiiU
Both. I have a feeling that MS might up its game and have a whole bunch of exclusives starting the gen, plus it looks like they will be launching before Sony.
I'm hoping next gen I can stick to one console (although I already have a Wii U, but that's a secondary machine :)).
Backwards compatibility may decide for me - whoever has the best way of preserving my collection will get my purchase. It's becoming more of an issue for me as I like to go back and play my backlog.
Also, less important, would be whoever has the best ecosystem of console/handheld/services. If Sony can make the Vita more relevant, and integrate it more with the PS3, it would do a lot to make me consider the PS4.
I'm really looking to consolidate and get the most out of my gaming. I've had all major consoles since the 8-bit era, and it's getting too be too much supporting and trying to get the most out of multiple consoles.
To tell you the truth I just want to get a PS3 Slim 160 gb plus I am thinking about getting a used PSP. I have NO interest in the "Next" Gen consoles.
Switching to PC gaming, I'll see how that goes. I mostly think it would be a really fun project to build a gaming PC, and I also like the idea of being able to upgrade it whenever I want.
I'll probably get a PS4 when the slim comes out to catch up on their exclusives and anything else, like the Final Fantasy series, that doesn't come to PC.
I already got a Wii U and its kind of hard to say xbox or PS4 since we know nothing about them yet.
One thing I can tell you though is if either companies decide to implement any sort of anti used game measure I shall not be buying either of them.I don't care if they get the most amazing games in the world I refuse to pay for something that I cannot completely owm.
I will also never buy anything that is digital only.
Most likely PS4. They've really been consistent towards the end of their consoles life cycles in terms of support, and as it stands they are arguably more hungry/desperate--which I believe will lead to a better product and strategy.
I won't be buying either a Playstation 3, 4 or an Xbox T-1000.
I still need to buy a Playstation 2 and a Nintendo DS handheld
I'll be buying the one that doesn't have Kinect trash on it. :)

I'll be getting the one that doesn't have MOVE trash on it ;) Seriously, I have no plans of purchasing any of them for the first year unless it has a must have game on it that I definitely need to play. I'll see what the launch titles are and then make up my mind. I may get one just to sell on Ebay for a nice profit if anything.
Will hold onto my PC at first and then likely buy PS4 when it's like a year old (depending on hardware, price, games etc).

Move is trash as well, correct. Luckily it doesn't seem Sony is hellbent on pushing it on me as Microsoft is with Kinect.
Well, that and at least the Move works. It's shlt, but functional shlt. Kinect is the antithesis of what I consider to be a video game's most fundamental component.
I want a new xbox but depends on:
1. Exclusives (non kinect crap).
2. XNA support.
3. Price/quality.
4. Price of live.
I know virtually nothing about the next Xbox, nor the PS4. Until I do I can't make a judgment. I was interested in the Wii-U, but that interest has faded.
More than likely I will just end up returning to PC gaming since I'm not expecting anything exciting out of MS or Sony.
If the Xbox 720 has free online multiplayer and YouTube and Netflix then that. Otherwise PS4. If PS4 doesnt have free online then PC.
