i have a small library but id recommend the following
Classic NES series: Super Mario Bros (just like the NES version, except it keeps the high score and it has a sleep mode)
Mario Kart Supercircuit (just like the SNES mario kart game)
Wolfenstein (close to the the PC version)
Doom I and II
Classic NES series: The Legend of Zelda
Final Fight one
Tekken Advance

I understand if you want to give him their original names but in truth giving names like these isn't really helping

If you use these same Japanese on a search engine for any website like GameFaqs they will yield you the same search reasults that if I had used whatever localized name they were given.In the caseLegend of Dynamic Goushouden: Houkai no RondoThat is the only available title since it was never localized and hence it doesn't have an "English" title. And thus that is why I can't be bothered to remember/mention the localized names for every single game. If people are too lazy to search for games that easy and simple way then I really can't help them.
