N64, Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask. And Gameboy Color with Pokemon Yellow. I cant really remember which came first.
My parents had an Atari 2600, I played River Raid for hours. Then came Adventure, and all of the sub-par sports games (but they were sports dang it!) that you could imagine.
So between that and a stand up Pac-Man game and a cocktail table Galga game at the local pizza place we went to, that's where my love for gaming started.
NES and Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
I enjoyed those games, but I feel that the Sega Genesis took it to the next level in terms of my interest in gaming.
A TurboGraphx-16 with Alien Crush and Keith Courage. What really let me into it was the N64, with Yoshi's Story... Ahh the good days...
For me it was the NES and Super Mario Bros. I had played and enjoyed the Atari 2600 prior to that, but it was SMB that made me a gamer for life.Galva-Gene
My first was the Playstation and that's what got me into gaming (though I played my neighbor's N64 for about a year). I decided I wanted a Playstation instead and my first game was Spyro the Dragon.
Sega Genesis and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.gameguy6700
Exactly the same here. I got a Genesis in '96, when they were growing a bit long in the tooth but still had tons of games available. I think mine was in a bundle with 2 controllers and Aladdin. I remember renting Mortal Kombat and other games from BlockBuster. I only had it a couple years and then wouldn't own another console 'til 2006.
