I finished MGS2 again yesterday. I started to play MGS3 Subsistence today and I'm not enjoying it. The camera sucks no matter which one I have. I hope it gets better. I'm about rescue the Russian dude which I'm guessing is minuscule by the time I get to the end.
Donkey kong country 3 on the Wii's virtual Console and final fantasy V advance (beat all the optional bosses that is and then defeated exdeath again for the hell of it :P).
Super Metroid (SNES) ~ 100% in 2h and 13m. And it was just a practice/experiment run. Since I now own a legitimate console cartridge, I will be doing every run I can; fastest any% (mine is 1:10 on VC), fastest 100% (2:13) and the "No Boss/Mini Boss run" (haven't even tried it yet). I have started planning out my route for the fastest 100% run and will watch the Red Scarlet 0:55 video for some tips on routes.
What I've got going: Castlevania: Curse of Darkness (PS2) ~ Hector 100% run (all items, I.D.'s and map) + Trevor first time playthrough (going for 100% map) Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (PS2) ~ First time playthrough, may play as Joachim for second time The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) ~ picked it up with SM, have played many times before... will attempt a 100% completion The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC) ~ First time playthrough, really enjoying it Luigi's Mansion (GC) ~ Fascinating change of pace from the Mario platformers, incredibly refreshing, don't think I'll finish, like SMS
What I want to pick up after I get a few of those finished: Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Reqiuem (GC) ~ Recently got it, haven't played much of it yet Devil May Cry 3 (PS2) ~ Got at a weird time, couldn't finish Vergil run P.N.03 (GC) ~ Got with ED:SR, have not tried yet Killer7 (PS2) ~ Picked up a couple years ago, still have yet to even get into it Persona 3: FES (PS2) ~ 65 hours in, stopped playing because I got bored as well as a 360, need to finish it Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (PS) ~ Played the demo of the second one many years ago and loved it, never bought the full game until now
Games I want to get to add to my collection:
Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner (PS2) ~ Borrowed a friends copy, wish I owned my own Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS) ~ I own Dracula X Chronicles and the XBLA version... as a huge fan I *need* an original Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (SAT) ~ A totally different version of the game not available on any other console, must own Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (GBA)~ Played about half of the game a while ago, wasn't a Castlevania fan then, need it for my collection Casltevania: Harmony of Dissonance (GBA) ~ Another must for my collection
Kane and Lynch. Cool game. Not great gameplay wise, but nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. I wouldn't give it an 8 or anything, but I really do disagree with Gerstmann's review. The ugliness and grittiness of the atmosphere and story were what was most enjoyable to me.
Quantam Of Solace. It eas the best Bond game I played in along long time. Overall it deserves the rating it got (7.5 I believe) but it was a fun little FPS romp that uses the cover system from Gears Of War really well.
Megaman 6 (from Megaman Anniversary Edition) Easiest Megaman ever made. It only took me 2 days to beat and that includes beating bosses 3 times to get Beat.
