What was your FIRST addictive Game??

What was the first game you played that you became utterly hooked on? I mean, thinking about it all day in school and playing it for hours once you came home. Losing sleep over it and stuff like that. Mine was probably thefirst Resident Evil: Directors Cut. I played that game so much, I could probably beat it right now in about two hours, and I havent even played it in 10 years. THE original Survival Horror. Classic Stuff.

Well I'm more of a casual gamer, so I haven't really lost sleep over any game, but when I was a kid I used to play Bubble Bobble a ton on the NES. I remember my dad getting annoyed that I'd still be playing it, and he is a gamer himself.

Oblivion.

A game called Gunpey DS. I mean, it wasn't really my first addictive game, but I would see lines everywhere I went, and put them together in my head. I became a Gunpey champ, but eventually the game gets to a point where it's so fast you have no idea what you're actually doing anymore.

Medal of Honor Allied Assault

Gun Smoke for the NES. I put in a lot of hours into that game, it never got old.

First MMO I really got into and the biggest waste of time I ever had in a videogame.

Reached level 69 when 70 cap came out, didn't even bother anymore to get capped the last level.

Well, I'm not really sure. I remember I played some games to death, and when I was younger I used to think about video games all of the time. I'd say probably Mortal Kombat 4 or Wild Arms, both played quite a bit more than a 150 hours each.

It was a tank battle game for the Atari 2600. On the NES it was Bionic Commando. On the PC it was Planetside.

Mu Online (sort of a Diablo clone), the first game that made me addicted to MMORPGs

other than that, Crash Bandicoot 2

The first game I was absolutely addicted to was The Sims. I played it non-stop 24/7 for months when I was pregnant with my son. Such a productive pregnancy right? I didn't play too much of The Sims 2 but I can't wait to get my hands on The Sims 3. I don't think I can get wrapped up in it like I have before but I'm looking forward to getting lost in my Simville

Goldeneye. I know everyone these days claims they were a pro at that game back when they were kids but I REALLY was. Really, I was.

I remember running through every map in the game to get the perfect completion times so I could get all the cheat codes. I was pretty good at multiplayer as well. Those were the days...

Diablo 2. before then I have never put so much time into a sigle game

My first one that REALLY got me addicted was Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

More recently, it's Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. After nearly three years, I'm still playing it and enjoying the hell out of it.

Pokemon Red/Blue. Hours upon hours of playing those games in the summer.
