My first addiction was sonic and knuckles. as a kid the sand levels were impossible. then again so was goro in mortal kombat...if anything i was only addicted because i couldn't beat these things so i wasted my childhood trying to,
Star Wars: KoTOR on the original XBox. I'm only fourteen, so XBox was pretty much my first system. I loved KoTOR. It was so much fun and I'm pissed off the The Old Republic will be a pay-to-play PC MMORG... (I have a Mac)... Then online FPS stuff is also pretty friggin' addictive...
Most PC games also have a Mac version.Star Wars: KoTOR on the original XBox. I'm only fourteen, so XBox was pretty much my first system. I loved KoTOR. First game was shining force. But I think ffx really screwed me up... I didn't sleep for a whole weekend playing that game. This gen its definitely Oblivion. I've pulled all-nighters for it as well.
For me it was Football Manager or Championship Manager as it was called at the time. I spent hours depriving my body of essential maintanence just so I could play one more game.
And even to this day Football Manager as it is now known still takes up a large part of my leisure-time. Truly a great, fun and highly addictive game.
I've also been addicted to various Final Fantasy titles in the past as well as Guardian Heroes on the Sega Saturn, Grand Theft Auto on various platforms and spent several long hours enthralled on the virtual battlefield playing....Battlefield on the PC.
Fin.
Either Pokemon Red or Final Fantasy VIII. I contribute me being a gamer to Final Fantasy VIII though.
This gen, any RPG worth running. Older systems? I can recall playing a game on an old Atari video game machine, Missile Command I think it was called. Tetris was a game I invested a lot of time in.
Freaking Pokemon Diamond. My first since Red and Blue and the nostalgia hit me like a bullet train. It was so weird, I've never been so into a game before, especially something as cutesy as pokemon. I was tranced into playing into the wee hours of the night for like a month straight. I've since been able to put it down but the amount of addiction it brought was so unusual to me....something about it.... lol
