What was your first console of them all?

Back when I was 7 years old, I had my first console, an Atari 2600

Ahh, what an amazing technology that was, ping-pong was fun as hell! I also had a racing game, it was no Gran Turismo, but man, did it rocked!

Then I grew up and realize what a piece of trash that was...

Atari xe game system, my dad got from a co worker, i remember the day he brought it home, my first time playing a game i think, this was in mid 90s so the system was long gone but i didnt care.

Gamers shouldn't be shy about their first console being fifth generation era gaming. Its not your fault you weren't born earlier...except for those people who were born earlier, but didn't get a system until they were older. For you I say shame, shame on you.

Kidding of course.

NES got it for Christmas when I was about 5. Dragon Warrior and Bases Loaded were my first two games(other than the Mario/Duckhunt that came with it). Had an SNES after that. Never got hooked until that fateful day when I bought FFVII for my PC......
