Halo 2 as well...When I really started getting into gaming, Special Editions werent that common... Plus I think I've only bought like 3 special editions ever..Halo 2, Assassins Creed, and I preordered the special edition for Bioshock. I wanted the 'survivor' of Fallout 3....
My first was Age of Mythology. Ive had some good ones,but I've been burnt on some too.....So I've quite buying them...most of the content ends up being available later for dwnload or the videos you can find on the internet..The ones that come with figures are normally broke when you ge them. And one like Batman:AA and MW2 that come with items like a Batarang or NV Goggles...well thats just plain nuts
I've never really gotten a special edition of any game as far as I know but I do plan on getting the "Hardened" version of MW2, and if GOTY editions count I plan on getting FO3 GOTY.
Do the gold cartridges of the first two Zelda games count? If not, then off the top of my head, you have to go all the way up to Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (but what an LE that was...).
Ps2: I think it was Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty, with the making of DvD. Although, I'm not sure if that really counts as a special/collector edition. Weren't they all sold that way initially? :? Alternatively, Silent Hill 2 comes to mind. That was a great package of extras.
