If we're including home computers then it was a C64 for me, complete with the Hollywood/TV Quiz pack which included such wonders as Platoon, Bullseye, Blockbusters and The Great Escape.
If we're only talking consoles, then it'd be the NES, which I managed to buy around two months before the SNES came out. Whoops.

LOL. i was reading and thought "ME TOO!" I remember my first console was the 2600 (like 1984 or something), and we had an apple II with the green/black screen. Those were the good ol days......
Glad to hear someone else started with some of the same "high tech" equipment as me! I fondly remember playing Oregon Trail for hours on the computer.
Our second computer was the Commadore Vic20...hooked it up right to the TV and could run programs off what appeared to be audio tapes!
