What was your first pre-order?

I've never pre-ordered a game until now, and that is Halo: Reach. Why? I'm a sci-fi geek and a long-time fan of Halo. Enough of me though, what was your first game that you've pre-ordered?

First pre-order for me was banjo Kazooie..back when Wal-Mart would let you reserve copies at their stores.

Console: John Madden Football - Championship Edition (1992)

PC: WarCraft II (1995)

Coincidentally, mon ami. My first reserved game was Limited Edition Halo 2. Thems were the days.

Zelda: The Wind Waker. Came with an awesome pocket watch and a cloth poster. They new how to give incentive then.

The first game I really ever pre-ordered was Gears of War 2. Played all night after I got it at midnight. :)

I think it was Final Fantasy 3 for the SNES.

I'm just like you, Halo: Reach. I'm so freakin' excited for it.

Killzone 2. I got on board the hype train for that game. However, after playing the campaign, I must say that the hype was warranted. It was an amazing experience.

I am for some reason, ashamed to say this but it was Star Wars : Battlefront for PS2.:?

I think mine was Halo 2.

Lego Battles was my first pre order.

never have pre ordered never will. 17 years true to this ;p

First was FEAR 2, A major disapointment and awefull compared to the original.

Secondly was Operation Flashpoint: DR. Another huge disapointment.

Ive stopped preordering games now, they turn out really bad if I do.

In memory, my first preorder was, I think, The Conduit for the Wii. Since then, I've preordered most major games that come out and which I want to get. I'm definitely excited about Halo Reach. I have the Limited Edition console preordered at Gamestop.

Doom for the PC. I paid for 1 copy almost a full year in advance. id sent me 3 copies.

Super Smash Brothers Brawlll!!!

I couldn't go to the midnight launch, so naturally, I was second in line that morning. Took it home, played it, invited a few friends over, and it turns out they ended up getting the game right afterwards.'Twas awesome. More games need a "SmashBros. Dojo"... like DNF!

So yeah.

The first one I can remember was Final Fantasy VII. I think EBGames had a deal at the time for a demo and a free guide.

The first game I ever pre-ordered was Zelda Majora's Mask at Babbage's because I was obssessed with Ocarina of Time back then. I couldn't wait for the next Zelda game.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence "Limited Edition" back in 2006 through EBGames.com. It was $50 including shipping, and it is now worth about $200 USD and up used. The best gaming investment I have ever made. I still kick myself after realizing I just got a credit card, and was considering buying 10 copies to sell down the road.

I pre-ordered Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Game Cube almost as soon as the game was open for pre-orders. Then it was delayed again, and again, and again. And then, over a year later. Gamespot handed me the game, and there wasn't even an extra for it. I didn't even beat it on the GC, got it for the Wii a few months later :P Since then, I've pre-ordered Red Dead Redemptoin and Blur on Amazon for their money-back deals :D

It was FF8 back in the day, rode my bike all the way to gameforce that day and back.

I think the first game I pre-ordered was Mortal Kombat 2 on the SNES. I wanted that game so bad after seeing pics in Gamepro Magazine.

Street Fighter 2 for the SNES. One of the best purchases I ever made.

If I can remember far back enough, I believe it was Sonic the Hedgehog 3. At least I am pretty sure that I had it pre-ordered... Could have sworn that I had some money down on it that assured me a copy when it came out.

I usually only pre-order systems, not games. I did pre-order Wii Play and Zelda when I ordered my Wii though if that counts?

Resident Evil 2. Of course I got in trouble at school and didn't get to pick it up for a month.

Mine was resident evil 5. I Found out i regret it since i didn't get anything good.
