I believe there will be a Killzone 4, probably for PS4 nonetheless. Gurilla Games is currently "off the grid" so to speak, they haven't shown off anything for quite some time, they've been pretty quiet. But it's obvious they are working on something big, and I think it's a launch game for PS4. I think Killzone4 would be a perfect launch title for the system, the Killzone series is of very high quality and it would no doubt attract many shooter fans to the platform, even those who haven't played Killzone before.

What do you think?

KZ2 sold well but some people complained the main character moved like a guy wearing body armor and carrying heavy weapons and that the heavy weapons had recoil (oh the horror!). In response to people offended that KZ felt different than the norm, Guerilla made the character the standard jumpy boy and made the weapons essentially recoilless.

Shockingly, making their game more generic didn't increase sales (in fact, sales greatly decreased). If Guerilla decides to make another KZ on consoles, they should go back to the KZ2 model. Also, they need to make sure the whole experience is polished and fun. Everything bar the controls and the jungle segment up to the MAWLR was wonderful, past that quality and fun fell off a cliff, so I strongly suspect they hit a deadline and just shipped as is without polishing the zero G bit or the spaceship battle.

I thought Killzone 3 was better than Killzone 2 (I love both though), my only complaints are the brain dead story line and stupid gun-ho military characters. Also the lack of online campaign is disappointing. Everything else it's the perfect shooter IMO.

I don't keep up with sales but I thought Killzone 3 sold well? There are a ton of people on it all the time. I know Killzone 2 sold very well because it got to Greatest Hits, that only happens to games that recieve generally high reviews and good sales.

Agreed. I will get a PS4 but if KZ4 is a launch title then that would be enough to get me to buy the system at launch.

Agree with all of this, these are all things Killzone already has. I want to see an improve storyline and online co-op.

Not a huge Killzone fan, but I'd still definitely play KZ4. I'm not too worried about visuals or stuff like that, because they handle all that well. What I want is a more interesting storyline and perhaps some more memorable characters, though I do think there are a few memorable ones from the series, but still.

- KZ3 gun play.

- Keep splitscreen offline campaign.

- Add online co-op campaign.

- Splitscreen botzone.

- Online competitive, and co-op botzone. You should be able to customize your bots for competitive.

- Snipers do not need the best assault rifle in the game in MP.

- Go back to KZ2 MP

- Keep brutal melee.

- Bring back the KZ1 campaign style. (where you can choose between 4 character to play as)

- Maybe have it as asandbox-ish type of campaign, with a stealth system similar to Far Cry 3.

- Bring back Hakha and have him play for the Helghast as the main character and have a Helghast campaign.

- Hakha (you) get to kill Rico in the end of KZ4. (it would be awesome because everyone hates Rico, and Hakha and Rico hate each other)

- Make the story telling a lot better than in KZ3.

That ^^^^ is what I want to see.

the only reason why i didn't buy kz3 is i was afraid that the aiming sensitivity would be like kz2. even after the patch, the sensitivity is still clunky. why is cod the only one that got the sensitivity done right in consoles?? kz2 gave me headaches...2 bad cuz i really liked the campaign

The Depht of Characters and the interaction between them like Killzone 1 had.

+ That you can choose between different characters again which have unique abilities where every path you could take is decided by there different abilities, as well as it already had been in KZ1

This were 2 trademarks of Killzone 1 I absolutely can't and never will understand why the dropped that in the later installments COMPLETELY.

Improved writing and voice acting, it's the one area where Guerilla Games truly fails.

Never played Killzone 1, huh? Because there they showed they are very well capable of doing so.

I'd like to see them open up the universe a bit more. There is such an interesting backstory to the Killzone universe but its hardly ever mentioned in the games, its just all out war between ISA and Helghast.I know its a shooter so that is always going to be the focus but they could make the story more interesting.

With all due respect that's what makes Kill Zone the game it is the constant battle between the ISA and the Hellgast.

I'm kinda tired of Killzone to be honest. While I do enjoy the games, I do wanna see something different.

Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 are equally incredible experiences, I only hope that Killzone 4 will at least contain a story that's interesting, because the gameplay, graphics etc. are spot on.

To be honest, aside from the zero recoil in KZ3, the controls were perfect. I like the slow and heavy feel of KZ2, but KZ3 nailed the balance b/w heavy and responsive. The lack of any recoil is downright criminal though. I understand the need to cater to the casuals, but in the harder difficulties of the single player, they could've easily upped the recoil.

Agreed with everything else. The game was definitely rushed.
