NES:
-Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - I can't beat the final dungeon for the life of me! And I'm fully leveled-up! :x
SNES:
-Super Turrican - A far too easy version of Contra, kind of disappointing.
N64:
-Doom 64 - What most people don't realize: This is an entirely NEW Doom game, it's NOT an N64 port of the original Doom.
Gamecube:
-Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - I'm lost, I haven't gone back in a week or so now. I've just gotten the "Dark Beam" and recently acquired my jump boots and morph-ball bombs and now don't know where to go. I've also made it past the point where you can open gateways from both worlds (light & dark) to the other.
Wii:
-New Super Mario Bros. Wii - The best Super Mario game since the first Super Mario World on SNES (not counting New Super Mario Bros. on DS).
Sega Master System:
-R-Type - Sooo hard. I didn't think they made shoot-em ups this intense back then.
Sega Genesis:
-Rocket Knight Adventures - The controls are so smooth and addictive, and Konami really knew how to take advantage of the Genesis's hardware.
Sega Saturn:
-Shinobi: Legions - I love this game. Such an underrated gem on the Saturn. It has that c-l-assic Shinobi feel to the gameplay, but has some of the best looking 2D graphics in the entire series. Plus it has these awesome live-action cutscenes between levels that feel like those 80s/early 90s direct-to-VHS kung-fu movies.
Sega Dreamcast:
-Sword of Berserk: Guts' Rage - Everyone tells me this game is great. I'm really trying to get into it, but so far it just seems like a repetitive beat-em up, the only difference being that your guy has a very large sword.
PS1 (I really still do have my original Playstation, not playing on PS2):
-Road Rash 3D - Just picked this one up again not too long ago after having sold it in winter of 1999 to help fund my Dreamcast purchase. This game is still a blast. Motorcycle racing, outrunning cops, upgrading your bike, and beating-up racers you can get close enough to with a crowbar. As well as amusing live-action cutscenes between races. Good times.
PS2:
-Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - What is going on?! Things are happening with my fighters and I don't even know how I'm doing it. This game is on crack! Too much sensory input.
XBox:
-MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf - The MechAssault series is great, I wish Microsoft would have continued it on XBox 360. You get to pilot various Mech-Suits and Battle-Armors in various open-areas with highly destructible environments, blowing everything away in sight with a varied arsenal of destruction. The first one was more fun, IMO, though.
XBox 360:
-Divinity II: Ego Draconis - This game was so disappointing. It was disappointing because as I started getting into it, I was REALLY enjoying it. It had such potential. But there was one fatal flaw I ran into. No enemies respawned. Now this game was difficult from the get-go. But I got to a point that no matter how many angles and how many times I approached it, I died. And since no enemies in the game respawned, ever, I had no way to level-up to a sufficient enough level to over come it. Game over. I could go no further.
PC - Windows 7 is not compatible with like 75% of my PC games I found out when I got my new computer a couple weeks ago. Anyone want to donate me Hexen and Diablo on PS1? Or maybe Doom II on GBA?
