There is no such game that is the best for all people, everyone else likes another genre of games, for example I like rpg's but a friend of mine prefers shooters, so we won't have the same best game.
I say Tetris. Tetris is not my favourite game, but I would give my vote for best game ever given it's simplicity, it's fun and addiction level, it's longevity, the number of spin offs and sequels that have come from it, and it's ability to appeal to a mass audience.
I think Final Fantasy 4 is the best game, because it has an awesome story line, fun characters, and good game play. Though I typically hate role playing games, it is my all time favorite. I perfer shooters. But anyways, yea I would say that is the best game.
Tetris IMO. I get tired of almost every single game i own at some point. Certain games take longer to wear thin on me, like everquest back in the day (WoW for you noobs) i played it for years never getting tired of it, but stil I managed to start disliking it at some point. Ive been playing tetris since I first owned it for the Brick gameboy back in 89' and still to this day dont tire of playing it.
