F-Zero GX is stupid-hard. It has the kind of no-error difficulty that becomes frustrating extremely fast, and coupled with its AI you get an experience that incites swearing faster than a boot to the crotch.
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't find retrying timed events over and over and over to be fun, and fun is pretty much the reason why I play games.

Same for me, but I would include any game which put the emphasis on reflex/coordination, this include all the fighting games, but also the shooters, the racing games and much more.
I don't like this type of challenges and just avoid them unless I can't and they block my way to something else, then, I may cope with them. :P
These challenges are a Lose/Standstill scenario for any game when I am the player.
Nightshade. And it's not the good kind of hard. It's the "those developers are jackasses" kind of hard.bohemian_bobExplain, since I've never heard anyone describe a game's difficulty that way.
