Whats the hardest game you ve ever played

Ok this is the HARDEST GAME EVER.

Many of you young consolites will have never heard of it.

An old PC strategy game called: Z

Near-freaking impossibe. AI always knew how to win. That game frustrated the hell out of me.

I'm going to add Ordos 8 and 9 from Dune 2000. It's a classic game!

Oddworld: Abes Exoddus. My brother and I spent hours on that game. Still havent beaten it

I'm definitely not a good person to judge this, as I just recently started beating a few games. I can't even tell you how many games have been locked up for years after getting frusterating and then left in the dust.

My brother and I tried for years to beat Super Mario Bros on NES, and we got them both when they first came out. We never did solve it on NES (I'll never forget the time my cousin came over who is 10+ years older than us, and best the game in what seemed like an hour at the time, we were so impressed). I just recently solved it on DS, something I never thought I would do :D

Personally, it has to be Devil May Cry 3.

Even on Normal it made my days feel like hell..

Soloing Halo 3 on Legendary, but that doesn't really count for this topic. I have heard that crappy game, Vampire Rain, was obsurdly difficult. But, as for me, I don't really have any crazy difficult games in mind. Most great games have difficulty setting options.

It's got to be the Fire Emblem (the first one to reach Europe and USA), and this is on hard mode, it's absolutely brutal, you get punished for making any mistakes. It's a great game though, it should definitely recieve more attention from the gaming media and consumers.

People often say that the Metroid games are very hard but I haven't found this to be true,but I've never tried the hardest difficulties though.

I think Battletoads was hard enought, but TMNT for nes and DOW in titan mode are good contestants too!

I would like to add the final event in SSBMelee that one where you fight agains giga bowser, mewtwo and ganon, i think is pretty hard i was never able to beat that more than twice in a row!
