What's wrong (with my 360)

It seems to be bugging out on me alot lately, it over heats very very quickly and then i get2 red rings,and i can't play for 30 minutes with out it stoping on me (goes to a blank screen and thats it)

ive only been playing saints row for the past week but i think its the xbox it self not the game.

Has this happend to anyone else, any help on the matter would be appreciated.

That's happened to me a few times (on my old model) but it didn't happen more then a few times... try contacting support.

You need to have it in a spot where it isnt dusty so it doesnt get clogged up. Even if you bumped it when a game was in it, it can still harm the system, especially if you have it standing up

i have had the system for a year now (bought second hand in mint condition) but its only now that it acts up.

i have it lying down in a cabniet (it does get dusty and not much ventalation) but i just bought a intercooler so when it arives hopefully it will solve the problem, if not then it must be a hardwere failure.

No ventilation is like having a CPU with a fan only running at half speed. Sooner or later it will start acting up and slowing down.

ive come to a conlusion (that wont stick) today i was play need for speed (new game) and as soon as i started the race it went to a green screen yet the sounds were still playing so im thinking that it has to do with my av cables or the tv, it still freezes on me more that usual.
