Which Call of Duty should I play?

Don't kill me: I don't have any Call of Duty games :o. I've played a bit of Black Ops at my cousin's house, but that's it. I want to change that, though. So where do I start? I want to try it out, but there are just so many options. Which Call of Duty game or games should I get first?

PS I don't have Battlefield either. Any opinions on the best Battlefield games?

I like battlefield more, but I do like the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare.  I love Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.

I'd say Modern Warfare 1 or 2 (The best in my opinion) or maybe the original Black Ops.

CoD 1 upto Cod 4 ...after those the game went downhill.

Start with the first and i guarantee you you will play them all.

And ok the first cod is not a modern game,but if you like first person shooters and ww2 games you don't care about the graphics and you love the gameplay and i promise you it only gets better,i for one still like too play the first games of cod{and all that come after that} and my favorite soldier of fortune1 {still to this day}.

And if you like call of duty you wil also like the medal of honor games,and i hope yopu like the games,because then you have months of{great in my opnion} gaming in front of you.

Call of duty moden warfare, modern warfare 2 & black ops 1

"Which CoD to get?"

None. Simple as that really. Rather get Half-Life 2 and you have alot more memorable moments than in any CoD ever.

If you're looking for multiplayer fps, get Halo or CS:GO. If you absolutely have to get something like CoD, get Battlefield instead. It's better than CoD but unfortunately the tracks aren't far from CoD, so it's not the best game either.
