Hey, I know that some of you may hate the muasic in Blade Runner. Personally I think its one of the most masterful soundtrack ever made in a movie. But for those who like it, name one or more games that has as equal an amazing score or better perhaps, with the same range of debt, emotion, atmosfere etc!

While playing Mass Effect I was thinking the music really reminded me of Blade Runner.

And on a mission I just played there's a tune during some action that sounds just like the End Titles track. The Blade Runner soundtrack is fantastic (Memories of Green has always been a favorite track of mine) and Mass Effect has wonderful music of a similar vein (the title music is particulary good!). You may like Mass Effect if you haven't played it. It's funny I was thinking recently, somone should definitely make a Blade Runner game.

Lots of Final Fantasy and Metal Gear soundtracks fit the bill.

Its not the same style of soundtrack, but metal gear solid 3 has a great soundtrack. Lots of memorable songs in it. But the blade runner soundtrack is really good. Memories of green is a personal favorite.

Co-sign on Mass Effect. It's got Blade Runner influences in a number of areas, the most obvious of which might be the excellent soundtrack by Jack Wall and Sam Hulick. Here's a few tracks for your (and everyone's) enjoyment.

Someone did make a Blade Runner game! Westwood studios. It was an awesome and unique adventure game too. Good luck trying to find it now though.

Great film. Yeh I got the Blade Runner game on PC, it looked good and the score was akin to that of the movie. Nice 'n atmospheric.

As for other games, i'd say the Halo score is pretty impressive. Immense budgets for such things nowadays.

Yeah, the music in Mass Effect reminded me a bit of Blade Runner. But it just can't compete.

Um, the reason the music in Mass Effect reminds you all so much of Blade Runner is because they were directly influenced by it and wanted to recreate the same kind of 80's sci-fi epic feel.

The soundtrack for Homeworld tops all. Portal's soundtrack is also great.

Mass Effect's music is amazing but it borrowed so heavily from Blade Runner I wouldn't be ready to call it better.

Ah, Homeworld has such amazing music. Although I usually play Tchaikovsky in the background while playing it, those two are simply a match made in heaven.
