more specifically, which games copied/borrowed from/were inspired by ocarina of time?

i'm just curious...because nothing comes to mind.

also, when NES zelda came out, which games were inspired by that? i never had a NES.

Okami is very much like Zelda,especially OoT imo.

I recently finished this game and it reminded me so much of OoT. The atmosphere, storyline, characters, epic soundtrack. Imo, after OoT, I found Zelda lost its touch and Okami has brought that great zelda feel again.

Okami is very much like Zelda,especially OoT imo.

sphinx and the cursed mummy, okami, and starfox adventures all come to mind in terms of games with the OoT formula (though i admit that okami certainly differentiated itself enough through other means). but then theres z-targeting which has worked its way into various other genres. dark cloud 2 for rpg's and dmc3 for action games are examples.

Equinox on the SNES was extremely similar to Zelda. You went though big dungeons fighting enemies, solving puzzles, finding keys, getting new weapons and magic, and fighting these big bosses by the end of each dungeon.
