Which Gen Are You In?

The only Next Gen console I own right now is the Wii and have lost complete interest lately. Right now I find myself playing alot of Xbox and PS2 games that I missed the first time around, because I can find them pretty inexpensively and are still alot of fun to play.

Which generation are you playing most right now?

i'm a mix of two generations mostly... I'm playing my Wii a fair amount, and just getting into some of the better games for it. I'm also back to my PS2 now that the Honeymoon Period with the Wii has worn off. I'm also playing games for the DS right now, which is actually probably getting the most use out of the three.

of course with the Virtual Console, I'm also playing old NES games... right now I'm working on one I've never played: Zelda II. So HARD!

The Xbox is the console that gets all of my attention. I don't have any of the current gen systems, and I don't plan on getting any of them soon, as they are far too expensive.

I have a lot of Xbox games I need to finish.

Lately I have been catching up on Gamecube games that I missed the first time around..such a great and reliable system.

My PS3 has not been touched in a month and probably wont until Mercenaries2 and the new James Bond are released

I'm in last gen. The 360 is a pos. I went through 3 of them in a year and a half. I had the same ps2 for 3 years and no problems, plus all the games for last gen consoles are relatively inexpensive

its really spurratic, i have an nes and snes that i play from time to time. a decent pc with some current pc games that i play from time to time (currently on DMC4) i have a ps2 with a backlog of about 50 games and i want to get a ps3..... so i'm not sure if i'm last gen with my ps2 or this gen with a pc z4twenny

I'm guessing if you have a system well suited for this gen and play at least one game, consider yourself on this gen. Anyways, PS2 kinda cheats by overlapping in this gen :P

right now im playing PS2 most of the time and sometimes SNES.

the reasons: i dont own a PS3 nor a 360 :P

I'm playing games all all over the place but playing the most in Last-Gen.

DS: Final Fantasy IV 14 hours in.

PS2: God Of War 2 I beat the first God Of War yesterday.

Wii: Megaman Anniversary Collection (GC), Megamans 1 & 2 beat.

I find myself playing a lot of consoles from random generations. I imagine I'll be playing the Atari Jaguar and SEGA Nomad a lot soon, since I'm getting both.famicommander

While I've owned a ps3 for over half a year I am yet to buy any games for it. Personally I usually find ps1 games more enjoyable then things being released today. So if I had to pick an era that I enjoy the most it would have to be ps1-ps2 era.

It's strange, I've relied on gaming as my vice for so long now and I can honestly see a point where I stop moving on. I doubt I'll be taking part in whatever the "next gen" of consoles has to offer, I truly believe I could spend the rest of my life tracking down and playing games for the SNES, ps1, ps3, pc, and eventually the ps3.

PS3 - Soul Calibur IV, MLB The Show, Stardust HD

SNES - Mega Man X

It depends on which game I want to play at any given moment.

But it's usually from the Super Nintendo or PS1 era
