Which Ninja Gaiden?

Ok so I recently decided to try the Ninja Gaiden series, and when I searched the web I saw that there are 3 different versions of the first one: Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden Black, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Which one is the best and the one I should play? Thanks!

I played all three. Regular Ninja Gaiden is good, but Black is the improved version. Sigma has the most weapons and has the sharpest animations...but you have to play as Rachel to beat the game. Overall, the difficulty seems easier than Black.

I prefer Black. It's just Ryu.

get ninja gaiden sigma. then play ninja gaiden2 then play ninja gaiden sigma 2. ninja gaiden black can be missed is u r not a hardcore ninja gaiden fan.
