I vote for the last one.

out of those, Rare.
though wouldn't it have been a better comparison if you would have compared Rare to something like Naughty Dog, HAL , Sonic Software/Camelot , etc?
Yeah I agree. I hadn't even heard of some of the companies in the poll before.out of those, Rare.

Well I was comparing defunct companies. Now Rare isn't defunct but they underwent a "change".
Rare for "Donkey Kong Country" alone. Shiny isa very close second with the awesome "Earthworm Jim"
Koi-Neon-X
Shiny also made some other awesome games like MDK, Messiah and Sacrifice (the former two were released only for the PC).
It's kinda odd that you have a console exclusive developer against all PC oriented developers.
For now I'd say Rare but only because they're the only one that I've played most of their games. I'd really like to play the Thief and System Shock games.

Well I disregard the platform in this case and care only for the games. Shiny made some console exclusives too btw (like Wild 9).
I'd have to say Rare, because I've played their games alot and consider many of them to be great. I haven't played many of Origin's games, not even any of the Ultima games except for the first part of Ultima VII - and that was briefly. A few of Origin's games appeal to me; most of them don't. I've also played none of the games by Looking Glass Studios enough be able to judge them. I never got that far in System Shock. I've been interested, and I am still interested in trying Thief though. Bullfrog? Shiny? Come on, they weren't particularly notable developers. Bullfrog - nope. To some they may be most remembered for Dungeon Keeper (which I haven't played). I remember them the most for Theme Park, and that's no great game. Shiny - Earthworm Jim, MDK... Forget it.
Weird poll anyway, these developers didn't have much in common besides being game developers. I'll abstain from voting.

Oh yeah, forgot about Wild 9.Where is Sega or Nintendo? Between those I would have to say Rare.

Sega and Nintendo aren't anywhere close to defunct. And I explained why I counted Rare too.
