Which old game should be remade?

If you could choose any old game to be remade which would you pick? It could be an old game that deserves a sequel like Shenmue or a old game that had a good concept but just didn't come out good and deserves another chance. I want to see a Brute Force remake because with the power of the new consoles it would look great and they can go back and fix everything that was wrong with it. I liked the concept and think if done right it would be a great game. On the sequel side, I would love to see a new Jade Empire by Bioware.

I thought I was the only one that played that, because people say Gears this and Uncharted that, but Killswitch did all that long before both of them.

I'd really like a remake of the Mother games, mostly so I could play them :P And I'd prefer the remake be in a similar styIe as the Chrono Trigger remake, i.e. little graphical change, just smooth out the edges, don't subtract, only add. That would be awesome.

But for me, I'd like to see remakes of Monster Rancher 2, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII and the old Castlevania games. Ah, to dream...
