In my opinion I would say PC, but that depends on your rig. If you've got a decent one it should be no problem. If not then I would suggest the 360 or PS3 version

If you have the hardware to max it, PC is the way to go. With mods the game never ends. Ever. Well, the game almost never ends on it's own, but that's not the point.

PC, and it's system requirements aren't that bad, then of course there are all the MODS you can get, and Oblivion sucks just stock, the mods are what save the game.

PC. I've gotten a crash a couple of times in Oblivion and the game corrupts. Thankfully, whenever you save, there is a backup save 5 minutes before the actual save. There is not anything like this for the 360 or PS3.

If you've got a pretty good rig, I say PC because of mods. Otherwise, I'd go with PS3.

PC by far. So many damn mods, billions, and billions of mods, graphic enhances, performance enhancers, and what have you. If you get it for a console then you're just being idiotic.

Overwhelmed by geekery? You aren't able to understand fully how to download mods for a PCversion of Oblivion?

I see your point but it seems you seek more pleasure in downloading mods and messing with the games architecture than enjoying the core game itself.

I actually played the core game 3 times (fully) with 3 different classes. Only then I finally decided to give the mods a try, and got completely hooked. I ended up downloading LITERALLY 20 gigabytes of just mods. It was amazing, they add SO much more depth. I was seriously sad that I didn't play through the first time with Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, which is CRUCIAL.
