Who else is not into online gaming?

I just can not get into it i played halo i was ok i enjoyed the campaigni also enjoyed resistance campaigni tried to give online another chance i bought warhawk i am ok average i get around 15 killsbut i don't enjoy playing online, it's like playing against computer. I like palying against other people but when they arephysically present. now every game comes out must have online or people automatically say it sucks and i understand we pay 60 bucks for a game and try to get the most out of it. I personally don't care about online i care more about a good game with good story i was wondering if other people feel that way too.

That's my two facets of gaming - a strong mature plot or online gaming.

A strong plot because it makes me want to play the game to find out what happens next. Otherwise, it feels like I'm doing chores.

Online gaming because playing with people in the same room isn't too common for many people and even if it happens, they probably won't be good at a game as you.

I like playing online. I'm always up for a game of CS or whatever. And I think it's way different than playing against some dumb, predictable AI.

We'll see how Turbo 2 HD turns out. I haven't had a problem with lag on my DSL that was significant enough to ruin my gaming.

Online is just that, connecting people that otherwise could not play together. I see online gaming for that greater purpose than what flaws that will eventually be worked on.

I actually played a lot online on my consoles. Most of my online experience has been with PC gaming however. On the PC, games are generally very fun to play online, and even older games are still played online. For instance Doom 3 on PC (I know everyone seems to hate this game) is still played online, as opposed to the Xbox version where no one ever plays. I don't know if you tried online gaming on the PC, but if you have access to it give it a shot. Battlefield 2 is extremely fun, as well as Counter-Strike and Half Life 2 Deathmatch, just to name a few.

i used to hate the thoguth of it and never wanted to try it, untill i finally did try it and ive loved it since, true some of my worst fears of goin online came true ( teh biggest bein cheats/laggers) but thankfully i come across a good clean game more often then not, save for when i try to play bomberman live, that game is nearly unplayedable over live due to the horrible laggin of people

I'm mostly interested in single player games.

I only play online on the DS really, backgammon, mario kart etc

I dont play too lot in online,but i have Trackmania United where all the game is online^^

So thats why i play online Xd
