Just curious, because I am playing Persona 4 on it right now. I still have many RPGs to play on PS2.

I still play SW: Battlefront on my PS2.

I LOVE SW: Batllefront.
Anyways, I'm playing The King of fighters at the moment.
[QUOTE="LankyKong"]How is it? I was juggling that amongst too many other games at once and had to drop that game. I only got about 3 hours in.I do.
Playing Rule of Rose right now.

Can't say much about it since I'm only on chapter 4, but so far I like it.
Following the dog around gets pretty repetitive though.
I do -- quite often, actually. Kinda surprised it's kept me entertained for so long. It's a heck of console.
I still have:
Waiting to be played.. I also have MGS2+3 but I didn't finish the first before I sold my PS3.
Oh yeah. Still load up some old favorites like SMT: Nocturne now and then. The old guy chugs a bit, but still plays pretty good. Launch model too!
My PS2 has been in a bag for years, but I still play PS2 games (particularly Dragon Quest VIII and Final Fantasy XII) on my PS3.
I still play PS2 sometimes. Not often though. I have plenty of games to play on PS3 and PC right now. And I plan on getting more soon.
I've been getting so bored of my 360 recently and I had a huge craving to play my Megaman X collection specifically Megaman X4,5, and 6. *siiiiigh* but when I dig my PS2 out of the depths of my closet I find out that I no longer have a working PS2 controller  I would use my PS3 but it's broken at the moment and needs repairs....how much are regular PS2 controllers anyway? Do they even sell them new anymore? xD I'll probably have to go to Gamestop or something to find a used one.
You can still buy new PS2 controllers. I bought two Logitech wireless controllers a year ago and I love them. I'm pretty sure you can still buy official Sony ones if I'm not mistaken. Hell they still make brand new PS2s and sell them, why wouldn't they make the controllers?I've been getting so bored of my 360 recently and I had a huge craving to play my Megaman X collection specifically Megaman X4,5, and 6. *siiiiigh* but when I dig my PS2 out of the depths of my closet I find out that I no longer have a working PS2 controller  I would use my PS3 but it's broken at the moment and needs repairs....how much are regular PS2 controllers anyway? **Target and Kmart have the official Sony controllers for $20.
Just as the PS3 was released my PS2 broke, I think I sold it as faulty and bought a PS3 as a replacment.
I still play. I never get bored with my copy of SCIII. I still haven't beaten the Tournament Mode. I also play Lumines Plus from time to time (until I get SuperNova/PS3). I have the SFCollection on there as well. Lots of old fighters that I love. Front Mission 4 is still cool too.
I recently even started a new save on FFXII.
I have a ton of JRPGs that I haven't even touched for my PS2 which is going to take me forever to finish. Too bad it doesn't look great on my hdtv.Pvt_r3dGet component cables. I got them and I would way rather play on my HDTV than a standard television. Also, don't sit too close to the screen, that makes a big difference.
I used to turn to it for playing my PSX era RPGs. Now, that job is for my PS3. Fortunately, it still works like a mule in summer when it comes to PS2 RPGs, and Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. Far as my console is concerned, it will never be left out of a job.
...unless PS4 is BC :o
I love my PS2, I still play it more than anything. It's the best game console ever. I'm currently replaying Tales of Legendia and Tales of the Abyss. My friend told me I should get Persona, which I never played; it looks really good. I missed out on a lot last generation. I never played Metal Gear Solid 2, Persona, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Legendia or Shadow of the Colossus during the last generation. It wasn't until recently I decided to buy those games used for cheap prices at Gamestop. The PS2 had such great games, they're so much better than current PS3 and 360 games.

Yeah, I'm using the component cables for my PS2 on my HDTV. It just doesn't look that great on some games with alot of edges, It brings out the colors and makes the game playable but also brings out the jaggies. Doesn't bother me much though.
