@smooth4lyfe: What you just described is DLC. And if you like the game that's fantastic.
Sequels tend not to be the same game, just a similar concept and design. But improved or changed enough to be considered sequel worthy.
As for Destiny, many people bought the original with high hopes and the developers didn't from my understanding deliver on many that wanting of a promised/ certain experience. And for a sequel many did not want the same experience as the previous game.
Destiny has its own audience, not going to question that, even sells. but clearly it's a required taste.
Won't lie, glad I never even considered buying the game. And feel sorry for many that did that ended up disappointed.
Keep in mind many bought it over developer hype and not the quality of product.
