Why is NHL 15 $10 more than last years?

Just noticed this going through old receipts, NHL 14 at launch was $59.99 and now NHL 15 is $69.99 for the PS3 system.

I just find it a bit ridiculous that they increased the price. Would make sense if the PS4 version was more expensive than the PS3 version, but no, same price. As you may have guessed, i'm not getting the PS4 version due to them sacrificing major gameplay features for better graphics and animations.

Yeah unfortunately our dollar has dropped in value. It was nice getting games for $60 for a number of years so hopefully it'll pick back up again.

The Canadian dollar is no longer on par with the US dollar. We went through this last generation as well. Retailers in Canada not only have to deal with import costs going up, but the slower economy.

Ah alright, that makes sense now. Also no, I don't have a modded PS3. Highly doubt I could play with my friends on EASHL online.

Hate to break the bad news to you, but EASHL is not on this years game. Pulled my pre-order weeks ago.
