Why Microsft should abandon the next-xbox

Why doesn't Microsoft make their own PSP and release it with Gears of War 1 and 2, Halo 3 and GTA 4. It would sell so well. MS says their focus is on a home console right now. They added no more when asked. The DS is weak, and PSP is even weaker so why not make one. Anyone know or are MS just not capable of understanding what most people want?

Is the DS that weak? I'm not sure a portable gaming system is Microsoft's forte.morph_basic

last i checked its the highest selling portable system. with good reason.

MS couldn't do what nintendo does in that sense. and the reason the psp sells so well is because it can do a lot of other things.

if MS tried to bite the portable, it'd get crushed and would lose so much money. they should stick with what they are good at, making home consoles that people enjoy(and for a little bit of sony fandom,), and RROD people =P
