Assassin's Creed's ending wasn't so much bad as it was non-existant. That game was basically made with a sequel in mind. However, to say it is the worst ending ever just shows that you all live very, very sheltered lives.
I remember way back when after you beat a game, you were lucky if they even spelt congratulations right. I nominate all those games with an Engrish message telling you that you won as having some of the worst endings ever.

BIOSHOCK was the crappiest ending! Everyone raved about how great the story was, but it had the biggest cop-out ending ever. Oh, and the "moral choice" is a frikin' joke too...

Oh, and the moral choice - if you save the little sisters, then you get the ending where you love every single thing on this planet, and if you kill more then 3, then you become the antichrist and want to suck up everyone's soul on the surface. The ending of the Addams Family Values,this game for the SNES sucks,I spent like 2 weeks to finish it,just to see a screen of the Addams house at the end,that's all,I was expecting for a better ending,although the game is good.
i didn't really like the ending of Assassin's Creed. the whole game was a little slow and just when things picked up they ended it. if the game had been overall more exciting i wouldn't have minded that ending.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords. Technically, it wasn't even an ending... just a mush of crap made to seem like an ending. Hopefully Team Gizka can fix all that.
Virtually everything Ubi turns out these days. Virtually all of their games are now designed with turning out a sequel every year in mind and the stories show it. AC, GRAW, Rainbow Six Vegas, Splintercell: Double Agent, all of them had weak endings.
I would have to say that Shadow of the Colossus had kind of a bad ending.Blanc16
You mean that epically beautiful piece of cinematography that both closed all the major plot holes in the game AND left so much open to interpretation? The track "The Sunlit Earth" alone makes the ending stupendous.
